aggie Q dashed rumors by showing up at a Seoul press conference to promote her new movie Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon. Earlier gossip had the film company excluding her from the 4-nation promotional tour due to her demands for five-star hotels and around-the-clock bodyguards. The rumor had been fueled by her absence from the tour's Hong Kong leg on March 21-23.
Daniel Lee's Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon is set for a March 27 release. A joint venture between Lee and Korean backers, the film stars Andy Lau as Zhao Ziling, an elderly warrior who must face Cao Ying, the granddaughter of a warlord he defeated sixty years earlier. The deadly woman warrior is played by the delicious Maggie Q who happens to be one of several actresses caught up in the Edison Chen sex video scandal.

Q, whose real last name is Maggie Denise Quigley, was born May 22, 1979 to a Vietnamese mother and an American father who had met during the Vietnam War. In addition to two older sisters, she has two older step-siblings from her mother's first marriage. The family had settled in Mililani, Hawaii before her birth.
In 2006 she attracted global attention as an activist vegetarian covered in red peppers and cabbage leaves for a PETA poster. Not surprisingly Maggie's first ambition was to become a veterinarian. Instead, she embarked on a successful modeling career in Japan as a Shiseido model. Her career took her to Taiwan and Hong Kong where she landed series of roles in Cantonese films. She was forced to learn Cantonese phonetically.
She became an international hottie through a series of sexy cameos in Hollywood projects like Rush Hour 2 (2001), Mission Impossible III (2006), Live Free or Die Hard (2007).
