Come on, CA is much better than Texas -especially for Asians. Who are you kidding? Houston is nice but let's face it, it's obviously trying to model itself after SGV in Southern California. And there is nothing in Texas that can compare to Silicon Valley and SF. I mean how can a copy be better than the original?
Houston is definitely nice but California is the most sought after place for Asians, even I know this. Everything else is just an imitation and second best.

So, you are saying if you lived in a town where the the majority of Asians are Pakistani, and you are the only whatever you are, you would fit right in?
This is the bottom line. If you take away all the Asians from the Bay, the identity of the area would be drastically changed. Chinese and Asian culture has become a part of the city's own heritage. In fact, Chinese culture helped build the area, and turn it into what it is today. Can you say the same for Houston?

...you say..."no Chinese or Filipino would want to kick it in India town"...but the point is that here we are a more integrated Asian community than Cali...Houston recognizes all Asians...Cali only seperates them...there's nothing like a Little Asia in Cali...and that's the thing that makes us better. Chinese and Filipinos come to "India town" and Indians go to Chinatown...this is exactly why your state sucks.

Hehe... you still have a long way to go, my friend. If some dude in HK had his choice of where he wanted to go, what would he pick? SF Bay or Houston?!
Throwing in facts about Indians and Pakistanis, even though they are still considered Asian, don't have any merit, because I doubt any Chinese or Filipino person would care to kick it in "India Town."

So you want to use population numbers to decide the best state....
Census 2000
Asians in Texas = 562,319
Asians in Cali = 3,697,513
LA vs Houston
Over 1.5 million Asians live in LA metro area, 3 times more than all of Texas! LA has Little Saigon, Chinatown, San Gabriel Valley, Little Tokyo, K-town, Thai Town, etc.
San Francisco vs Dallas
A major US city with about 1/3 of the people being Asian. Thats almost unheard of. Frisco = The Chinatown of all Chinatowns.
San Diego vs San Antonio
These two cities have identitical populations....1.2 vs 1.1 million respectively.
But 250,000 Asians live in San Diego metro while only 25,000 in San Antonio. Thats 10X more! No competition.
People don't come to Cali to visit....they come to stay.

H-town The best AA city for Vietnamese gangsters... nuff said. Who cares about Cali? All AA young professionals in Houston want to come to real AA cities in Cali like SF or LA. H-town, growing exponentially in Vietnamese gangsters.
