You may be right, but not only did the Spanish go to PI, but Chinese, Japanese, etc. So many are mixed with these races as well. So What you are saying is that Filipinos got their Spanish surnames in the same fashion as how blacks got last names such as Washington and Jakcson?

The greatest Asian beauties in my opinion in no particular order: Hsu Chi, Vanessa Mae, Joey Yung, Debra Lin, Piyada Akrasanee (thai actress/model), El Regina Tajuddin (malaysian gymnast) and Song Hyekyo (Korean Actress).
That's all, you've probably haven't heard of many of these names but really famous people on tv are not the only ones who are "good-looking". I think these ladies are the most gorgeous in the world.

Is there such thing as a "pure" Filipina? With all the intermingling over the centuries, unless her peoples have dwelled in the jungle all these years (which in turn, would probably make her not all that attractive), there is no way she can be pure, especially with a Spanish surname!

It's disgusting to know the fact that eyelid surgery is very common to far east asians. How can they find theirselves happy if within theirselves they are not happy and contented. If you type in any search engines about Korean or Japanese eyelid surgeries you can easily find it.
Eyelid surgery is entirely different to having chin or lip surgeries because you are immitating a certain race. 100% of Fareast Asians has single-eyelid that's what you are known for. You should be proud for yourself and stop acting like you are the best of anything because within yourselves show your insecurities already.
One Korean I know is not happy with her new eyelids after the surgery and it basically ruined her life.

Oh my god, I HATE it when morons on this site brag about how their country has better atheletes, better singers, better beauties... so what. Does that fact that some Filipina won a Miss Universe put money or food in YOUR hands? NO. Will it further YOUR career? NO.
I think that there are so many beautiful people in the world. with over 6 billion, the odds of finding an even better looking person that the one you just saw aren't too bad (understatement --!!). Most pagent contestants are really done up anyway. Take away the bra inserts, the scotch tape that holds their flabby asses in their swimsuits, peel off the foundation and mascara, wash out all that hairspray -- and you have Jane Doe from the Philippines. This is such a farce, and so are all the pagents in the world. Give me a goddam break.
I'm a Korean fellow who knows how it is in real life. There are beautiful people in every part of the world, and no pagent will convince me that one country has a monopoly in beauty.
