The Princess: Advice for Adoptive Parents of Chinese Child
hat makes you think that all Chinese adoptees speak Mandarin? Many are from the southern region and come from areas that speak Cantonese. My advice is to teach the child proper Cantonese (no regional accents please....PROPER Hong Kong Cantonese)..hey, one day, she may be able to watch all those Kung Fu movies in their ORIGINAL form! :-)
