AA MEN SEEK OUT NON-ASIAN WOMEN

sian women are only interested in non-Asian men and don't give Asian men the time of day. That's the reason cited by many AA men for dating and marrying non-Asians. A minority of AA men say they simply find non-Asian women more physically attractive or more appealing in terms of personality, values and interests. Whatever the reasons, the rates at which young Asian men are dating and marrying non-Asian women are quickly approaching the rates at which Asian women are outdating and outmarrying (about 38%). Some Asian women are complaining that they aren't getting a fair shake because Asian men have been brainwashed by media standards of desirability.
     What are the real reasons for so many Asian men seeking out non-Asian women? How do Asian women really feel about this trend? Who benefits most from it? Will the trend continue? We want to hear your views.

Exactly. it goes both ways. To the guys: sometimes as an asian male I find it pathetic how some of you idolize bruce lee and spout out anti white speech while you lust after white women. i know a few guys (nice guys) who have bought bruce lee tapes, posters, and honestly watch these tapes tons of times for inspiration. Somtimes I wonder if it was really because Bruce Lee was a strong asian male or was it because he married an attractive white female. Also remember that Bruce himself, no matter how he tried to join the mainstream, eventually had to go back to Asia to become a star. Let's not shut out the asian females.

To the Asian females, some of you do date white men for the wrong reasons. Some of you even complain that because we are so whiny and insecure, that you don't date us. Chicken or the egg? Did asian males complain about you because you date white men or did you date white men because asian males complain about you dating white men? Or is this an excuse just to shut us up. Truth is I still think that asian men love asian females not because you will be our "slaves" but from firsthand experiences on how wonderful and inteeligent asian females are as sisters, mothers, aunts etc. All I ask is that AFs see this from our point of view. If start showing more support towards one another this tired IR debate can finally stop. The gender divide does nothing but help destroy us as asian americans.

But just acknowledging this does nothing to get rid of the gender divide. asians need to help each other out. we have to stop looking at our asians and channeling all our hate and insecurities into them. next time you see another asian walk into a predominantly white room, don't view them as competition, a "sad" reminder of what a minority you are, an "sellout" af who dates white guys or a whiny asian male whose dad was responsible for the oppression of your mom, etc. But rather try to breathe a sigh of relief that you aren't alone. Heck try to cross over and talk to the person. You guys should have a lot in common. Its a great way to network if only asians stopped avoiding each other. Who if white people think you are "avoiding the mainstream" or purposely sticking to your own kind. White people are very guilty of trying to separate us from our own kind. From the posts on these boards it seems that some white people enjoy seeing us bickering: males vs. females, chinese vs. japanese, FOB vs. american born, etc. It even extends to real life and I have seen white guys feel great when they see asians show their animosity towards each other or even when minorties do this such as when a black and a asian person argue. Let's be proud we are asians and minorities.

So next time you are position to help a fellow asian out, whether helping out a recent college grad confused at work, translating something to english for a receent immigrant at the DMV, or even talking to that cute male or attractive female giving you the "eye", do it.

Asian Dominatrix, you seem like one independent-minded and intelligent grl. I usually need some visual cues to turn me on, but your writing kinda made me horny for you, even if by chance you turned out to be "tiny, flat-chested, and hairless" (as some white woman described Asian women). In real life I wouldn't say this lame shyt, but since itz the internet, I can just blab wutever I want.

I actually lust over Halle Berry, Toni Braxton, Brandi, Destiny's Child women, Mariah Carey, Tyra Banks, Tracy Bingham and other black women...who are actually better looking than Britney Spears, Deborah Norville, or for that matter, Paula Zahn, Greta Van Susteren, Katy Couric, Dianne Sawyer or number of other white anchorwomen here in the Washington DC area...Susan Roberts of ABC 7 with her very sharp pointed nose, Ms. Evans, Holly Morris or Melanie Alnwick of Fox News.

Actually, many of these white males married to asian women will rarely hire an Asian for a job...we have several in a profession called Agricultural Economics...furthermore they all got together and got an Indian male thrown out of the faculty for marrying a white wwoman at the University of Georgia back in the 1980s...some of these bigoted white guys are still married to a Asian women.

I think that if the Asian American males think that Asian American women would not give them they time of day, they should find brides in Asia and bring them here. Ditto for black women...they can look to Africa...we would at least contribute to making whites a minority in this country sooner rather than later and thus "get back" at the whites who steal "Asian men or women" or for that matter "black men or women".

As per the 2000 Census only 69% and in a number of big states they are becoming a minority.

...to be white and female? you mean? That is why we have mostly white women in the movies. TV shows, modelling and TV anchors...would an Asian woman get the same attention from whites. With all fairness to black men, I have rarely seen them gawking at white women.

You mean most if not all whites can walk with so much ease? Wonder whether they walk around with the same ease in Berkeley, UCLA or MIT where they are a minority. Although whites are a majority (nearly 80%) of the Midwestern school I attended many of them are scared of me in that school...because last summer I had many of them thrown out for rioting after a woman's basketball game...I am the chair of the disciplinary committee...I threw out several rioting white men and women, and did not think twice about it.
