AA MEN SEEK OUT NON-ASIAN WOMEN

sian women are only interested in non-Asian men and don't give Asian men the time of day. That's the reason cited by many AA men for dating and marrying non-Asians. A minority of AA men say they simply find non-Asian women more physically attractive or more appealing in terms of personality, values and interests. Whatever the reasons, the rates at which young Asian men are dating and marrying non-Asian women are quickly approaching the rates at which Asian women are outdating and outmarrying (about 38%). Some Asian women are complaining that they aren't getting a fair shake because Asian men have been brainwashed by media standards of desirability.
     What are the real reasons for so many Asian men seeking out non-Asian women? How do Asian women really feel about this trend? Who benefits most from it? Will the trend continue? We want to hear your views.

Hey, I applaud WM's who like to love, cherish, obey, and worship beautiful Asian women, but I still take some exception to your words on my Asian bros. Believe it or not, many of us AF's who date whites and find them attractive still love and respect our fellow Asians!

First of all, Asian and American are not mutually exclusive. Many of us were born and raised here--and that makes us as American as anyone else. Even if we speak another language at home. After all, would you say that a son or daughter of Polish or Italian immigrants were any less American than other Americans? The same applies to Americans of Asian descent.

Secondly, yes, there are Asian men who treat their women like garbage. But there are plenty of white men who do the same too--except for the fact that they are not usually singled out for race. Look at one of Reagan's (white) chief officials (I think Attorney General) who abused his wife badly. Despite being well educated. And the Lifetime network certainly gives another examples of white wife/girlfriend abusers. Finally, even my own WF friends have complained about some of their WM boyfriends who expected them to be servile. (Yes, those men were eventually dumped.)

In other words, the fact that the world of media--especially novelists and journalists--like to harp on "Asian wife-abusers" doesn't make such abuse inherent or peculiar to Asians. There are many insecure men guilty of this, regardless of race.

Asian women find that some Asian men treat them like slaves for whatever reason,and they resent it. American men treat Asian women with respect and love, and try to make them happy. I would not go as far as to say that American men worship the Asian women,but I would say that we treat them as something very special. I personally would love an Asian Dominatrix as my wife. It would be a wonderful experience to love, cherish, obey, and worship a beautiful Asian woman.

Thanks for the compliment. Coming from one of the rare posters who thinks and writes well, it means something! Yes, I do like exhibiting my sarcastic humor: that's probably where my real whip lies....heh heh heh.

Don't credit me with the chihuahua bit tho.' That's actually taken from AM's on this site dissing short AF's who prefer tall WM's! I was kinda amused by it, so I used it. (But I can assure you that everything else was my own! Inluding the Danny Devito.)

I grew up on the East Coast and presently live in Chicago, where there is not a huge Asian community. I was always one of the few token Asian faces in my HS of 4,000. This may be why my understanding of the Asian community is different from yours. I was usually eager to reach out to other Asians. And they were too.

I did not realise that the Asian community was so fissured until I started reading Goldsea. Believe it or not, I did not even know that the relationship between AM's and AF's at large was so fraught with tension. But as you point out, the outmarriage rates by either AM or AF are not overwhelmingly significant in the Asian community as a whole. (However, I would say that they are compared to outmarriage rates by whites and blacks.)

But you're definitely right in that we must judge the PERSON, and not the RACE!
