I was recently browsing through previews of upcoming movies this year, and to no one's surprise it's yet again slim pickings for Asian Americans in terms of movie roles. So far, the only major movie that has a notable asian actor in it, and is NOT related to martial arts based action movies, is X Men 2 with Kelly Hu.
Other than that, there are several high and semi high profile movies that feature asian actors, like Chow Yun Fat in Bullet Proof Monk and Jet Li teaming up with DMX. Also, the Matrix movies seem like they will feature asians in lesser roles.

He is very nice, Yehenala but unfortunately for me pining for him would make me feel like
Ms. Mary Kay Letourneau.
Then I considered pining for him to have as my younger brother(sorry Luke!) but then again I'd probably be jealous as hell of his active love life

now, it really sucks... my other message proved it right! when you generally talk about asians blah blah, chinese people emerge... why not name this site chinese-american instead, huh? FYI, people of the world, chinese people don't represent the whole of asia. they are chinese! with population almost half of the world should be classified as another unique race!!!
Russell Wong is half Asian Half White. In all fairness, either he should be off the list or you should include Keanu Reeves, Rob Scheider, and whoever else is half Asian.
whateva, unique Russell Wong is the bomb. And he doesn't get enough play. He's more than the top asian male actor, to me he's one of the TOP ACTORS in Hollywood. He's so friggin'......ooooooo! Can't find the words, oh, he's eloquent and he's such a demanding force on the screen. And due to his looks, Bullsh*twood won't give him his well overdue spotlight!

oh and i noticed that this site hasn't done anything on Donnie Yen. i like him too.
oh and another thing. Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa should be here too. too bad for most of his acting career they've placed him in those stereotypical roles. recently he said he ain't playing in them no more. anyhoo, he is a very intelligent man and also has a demanding presence on the screen.
I'll go for Jason Scott Lee. He *was* Bruce Lee at one point, right?!
