Now that Lisa Ling and Rick Yune seems to be history, who would you most like to see fill the Asian American power-couple vaccuum? We understand that a couple of the named prospects are already married to other people, but this is just for fun.

Why don't we look beyond just Media types? What about politicians or businesspeople too?

Lisa Ling & Yao Ming--Lisa Ling was in Houston recently when the Rockets played the Clippers in order to cover Wang Zhizhi and Yao Ming for NGeo. She was going on about how "great" it was that White, Black, and Latin people were all "cheering for someone whose face looked like hers." Sorry, but Lisa's too short for Yao. Yao has a girlfriend back in Shanghai who's 6'4" tall and is well known over there. Still, the guy who rewrote the lyrics to the Yao Ming song was able to get the rhyme right with Lisa Ling

Rick Yune and Kelly Hu would be a great combo actually. Kelly Hu was involved with some Lebanese-American club owner for a time (shades of Tia Carerre's ex-marriage) but who knows what happened with that.

My wife Julie is the one who told me about Yao's girl. She hadn't seen a picture of her though, so at present I have no knowledge of her looks. This is something which we need to find on the net, if such 411 is available.

mark dacascos and kelly hu would look good together. but i heard kelly hu doesnt like asian guys....then again mark dacascos was her buddy from hawaii. i give my hands up to mark's talents!

kelly hu on the conan o'brien show about her being discovered by sammo hung and asked that if he lived up to his namesake of hung and kelly hu replied "he's asian so what do you think?"

what piss me off is that white men can always pull it off being looked at as individuals while asian men are continued to be stereotyped....even by asian women.
