I have a shoe fetish! I love sexy, slinky shoes for after five. I like mules, anything with a heel because I can't wear flats. They're uncomfortable. Kenneth Cole, Via Spiga, and Charles David are some of my favorites.
For work, shoes aren't so important. Good shoes get ruined when I'm covering a story. Besides you want to blend with the environment which can mean ugly rain boots in rainy season.
Shopping is an exhausting necessity that I hate although I can drop a thousand easily.
On EATING
I used to be able to eat everything, but now I keep it to a very low-fat. It's hard for me to digest breakfast so I have a late lunch and an early dinner. I don't eat after six, and if I get hungry, I snack on a bowl of cereal. I love sushi and Italian foods. Take Sushi in West Hollywood is my favorite, and I love the grilled shrimp vegetable mesquite salad at the Ivy in Santa Monica.

On HER BIG DOG
I have a 15-month-old, 80 pounds chocolate lab called Mousse--as in chocolate mousse--that I like to take on hikes. He's my pride and joy, and is a good companion and very loyal. Taking long walks with Mousse provide great spiritual release.
I've had enough relationships to know that I like men who are about ten to 15 years older. I like men who are secure, successful, intelligent, sensitive, handsome and confident. Life is too short [to deal with insecurities]. My past relationships have lasted as short as three months to as long as three years. Anyway, for now, I'm single and free. [Soon after this interview she married a Chinese American stock broker who is eight years older.]
