WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
Well,
A blonde fetish is possible. Because the attraction is, as far as I know, not to the pubic hair. But to the nonsexual head-of-hair. And it is very close to the examples given in that it is distall to the center of the body. And hair is dead skin and not alive. Therefore, hair could qualify as an inanimate object.
But I have never heard a blonde woman complain about this.
And yes I have read Freud in his original language.

Well the angry asian male and all other races certainly like to invade this site. Or maybe they are just too stupid to figure out where the appropriate discussion forum is.
According to the following definition it is impossible for a caucasian man
to have a fetish for asiatic women:
Fetish - 1. any object believed by superstitious people to have magical
power. 2. any thing or activity to which one is irrationally
devoted. 3.Psychology any non sexual object, such as a foot or a
glove, that abnormally excites erotic feelings.
Upon reexamination of the definition:
1. People are not objects and asiatic women do not posses magical
powers.
2. Again asiatic women are not things... possibly an activity.
3. I do not think epicanthic folds qualify, the examples were
peripheral appendages.
So if an asiatic woman is going to blame her short comings on a
caucasian male. Then she could argue that caucasian men see her as an
activity.
We all know that people are not inanimate objects...
And the epicanthic fold is part of the eye (eye lid). And the eye sends sexual signals. Therefore, it is a sexual object and not a non sexual object like a foot or glove.

Jessica,
the dictionary definition of fetish covers both inanimate objects and parts of the body.....point taken however about semantics but why do i keep hearing about guys with a "fetish" for asian women.....i know plenty of guys who seem to be only attracted to blondes yet the term blond fetish never pops up.....what about AM's who only date asian do they too have an asian fetish if they have a superficial attraction to the asian appearance?....my point is that appearance pervades everything to do with relationships and to focus on one part of the population WM who like AF and say they have a fetish is neither accurate or helpful to those involved
young ABC & sothias
who cares if you an AM posting on this page....as long as you have some light to shed on the topic

Sothias:
I'm not Canadian--I'm a EurAsian American Texas, dammit! The reason why I went on about the topic is because several Canadians of Asian ethnicity were posting in here on how the terms "Black" and "Oriental" aren't offensive to them. I was trying to explain to my fellow Americans WHY that was the case and at the same time explain to the Canadians WHY those terms are offensive here.
My Afro-Latin girlfriend doesn't like the term "Black" just like I don't like the term "Oriental" as points of pride and due to negative connotations. I wanted the Canadian posters to understand this without jumping all over them and being rude, ya dig?
