I think that some white guys can be very crude. Just last weekend, my friends and I drove along Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, and this white guy made some really nasty comments, at first he tried hitting on us, but we rolled up our windows and ignored him. Then he started shouting out and making degrading comments on us girls. We just ignored that foolish sack of sh*t and went on listening to our music and enjoying the scene.
Anyhow, not all white guys are like that.
Just the other day, I went to the library and I tried to renew my book a second time. The librarian said, "I'll just check it out and re-check it in for you anyway; we're not suppose to do this, but I'll do it anyway. Don't ell anyone k"?
Wow, I thought. This guys was so hot, he was cute but not like Enrique or anything, but it was his demeanor that made him very appealing. He was dressed so nice, clean and conservative. Nothing like that white trash that I encountered last weekened. He was so gentle in his tone and so polite.
He's a living example of a "dream guy that DOES exist"!
It seems as though out of all the guys that I've encountered in general, white guys seem to be truly more polite and respectful; sometimes somewhat shy and reserved.
Guys like him keep my interest in white guys, but I'm too chicken to approach any type of inte-racial dating. I already have enough problems with guys of my own race, I don't need added stress.

Czech,it seems for someone of a different race, trying to fit in and be accepted by her family would be the normal course. It seems very arrogant of you to just throw your hands in the air and exclaim'I have no idea how to bond with him'. I'm undergoing a similar situation with my white bf's family who aren't very friendly at all which causes me a lot of grief but I never once thought of how you react to your certain situation. Do you think I could pull off the same tack by proclaiming of them'oh well, I give up on them. I've tried everything and they're just not responding, I don't know what to make of them.'Does this sound weird?

Tell me when have you ever:
1. Been denied a job because of your race.
2. Worried about the glass ceiling.
3. Been physically or verbally threatened while growing up.
4. Told by women (even women of your own race) that they would never date someone of your race.
5. Had a harder time getting into school because of your race.
You have never experienced this type of of racism because you are white.
