The "tan" skin is taking over the white pale skin. The tan skin is the new trend of beauty. Look at many of the
models in runaway, magazine, and billboards they are tanning their skin!
I think many people perceive tan skin sexier than pale white or yellow skin!

Im a Puerto Rican male, from the Eastcoast New York City area. I work im an Aircraft tech:). Anyways most say i look like Enrique Iglesiase. Me i love love asian women,they are so sexy looking and i find them so damn good looking!:).. They are very sexy looking,and i love the slain in their eyes:).

Concerning tanned skin, my previous observations are just that - observations. I have lived in Europe and noticed that tanned skin is admired although pale skin is just as acceptable.

I am living in the Pacific Northwest where it tends to be cloudy and rainy. I have noticed that many people go to great lengths to maintain a tan.

If you look at American and European fashion magazines, especially during summer, the models featured tend to be tanned.

C'mon, I am woman so I am conscious about beauty standards. I think my observations regarding skin color are not off base as "Bullshit" thinks.

Anyway, to Jesus, I would like to say that you should not feel discouraged about what you have observed. As another person commented earlier, the best thing to do is just try to better yourself. If you are pre-occupied with how the woman is going to respond to you, you will come across as insecure. And your lack of confidence will make you appear unattractive to ANY woman, Asian or not.

If an Asian woman looks at you and makes judgments about you without making an effort to get to know you better, I don't think you'd want to be with her anyway. Who would want to be with a close-minded person, right?

There are "lazy" and "uneducated" Asians too!

"DO RESEARCH" seems like you are so mad! What's ur intention in writing that stat? Seems like u don't like Filipinos to have a Spanish blood ha?! For your information, most, if not all of Filipino generation of today do have a dash of Spanish blood. Even the most Malay looking Filipino have some Spanish blood running thru their veins, idiot! That is what the Spanish and Filipino historians and authorities have revealed that most Filipinos are not pure blooded Malay, most have at least some dash of Spanish blood running thru their veins.

Yes it is true that the "Spanish-looking" Filipinos are rarer. But Filipino doesn't have to look Spanish to be attractive anyway. There are sooooo many beautiful Malay, Chinese, and other
mixes of Filipino that are far more
attractive than the Spanish looking
ones. For me, the most attractive are the Malay-looking (sweet, lovely, and feminine) and the hapas (amerasian or eurasian). I just want to clarify one thing regarding the hapa Filipinos. Most of the hapa Filipinos are not latin looking. Most have light skin and look like amerasian or eurasian and not latin. The only difference of hapa Filipino with other Asian hapa is that hapa Filipinos have big semi-caucasian eyes while most of the hapa East Asian
have a slanty eyes. Yes, most of the hapa in the Philippines are almost looking like caucasian, they are very beautiful! *sigh*

Hello everyone,

Here are my latest observations. In Vancouver, BC you see many Asian-Hispanic couples. You see many people come to Vancouver to 'study' (most of them want to stay here) English. Many of them are Korean, Japanese and Mexicans (nothing like the immigrants you get in Cali. These are more educated and more urbanized and more likely to adapt to North American culture). Anyhow, if you ever come to Vancouver, don't be surprised to see this interacial mix of hispanics and asians. Something to remember is that all these people are IMMIGRANTS and surprisingly they are more open minded to other cultures than many locals here. A great example of how globalization has worked wonders

I've noticed what you've described as well, but it's not only Asian girls who fall for the bad stereotypes. Still, it's not that simple.

For various reasons, unless you're a very light skinned Latino, and very Americanized (or very European in your ways), you will have to be an "above average" catch to get the same quality of women that an average White guy will get. I'm not saying White guys don't have "game"-- a lot of them do (like my friends). It's just that in general, Latin guys have to overcome extra hurdles.

Anyway, no amount of reasoning, begging, or bitching's gonna help-- women like what they like, period. The best you can do is to better yourself so that they will want you.

Besides, it feels really good when you surprise a girl by breaking her stereotypes-- they never see it coming. Think about it-- you might be the one person who's finally able to open a girl's mind to a different flavor of man. ;-)
