Go to www.filipina.com, it is a mail order bride site. There you will see that the VAST MAJORITY of the hundreds of filipinas on the site would rather be "bought" to be the wife of a poor Nordic man (German, Anglo-Saxon, etc) than be baught by a wealthy non-nordic european, or god forbid, a filthy rich asian man!! (*sarcasm*)
The way we filipinos have been taught to despise our race and our roots has alot to do with mail order brides. I do realize some do do it to escape poverty, but many see it as the easiest way to find a white man in a country where whites are less than 1% of the population.

Latin guys may be thinking of sex alot because of their high labido, and exsessive testosteron levels. Same as Arabs.
Asian guys tend to concentrate more on attending to the needs of a woman mentally and emotionally, and this is what really counts. They aren't as sexcrazy as other guys.
After all, how can you base a relationship or marriage on sex only. Have you ever wondered why Asian marriages seem to last longer or are the lowest that end up in divorce? It's because Asian guys aren't as obsessed with bedding a girl. It is in their genes to love and confort a woman, not ravage and exploit her. There is nothing better than a man that can keep intouch with his woman.

I also wanted to add one more thing. I don't think you can make a blanket statement that these mail-order brides are marrying white guys to better their race.
It seems to me that many of the Filipinas who become mail order brides do so to escape poverty.

I read somewhere that there are a still some Preysler-Arrastrias living in Manila (at least, I've read about some of them in the social columns of Filipino newspapers).

I can't believe what I'm hearing from other Filipinos. To suggest that you have to have a certain percentage of malay blood to be Filipino is short sighted and selfish.
What about the precolonial Chinese community in the Philippines that have suffered the same oppression as we have and helped build of the country? Are they not Filipino? What about the Indian community that have contributed to the country since the British occupation of Manila in the mid 1700's?
Whether you like it or not there have been many different nationalities that have contributed to the building of the country. Their offspring, whether mestizo or not, have contributed greatly to the country.

Yeah dolly, that's the first thing on a Latino's mind when we meet women. How can we get you into bed? You better run and hide now. Frankly speaking, anyone who spells the word because as "cuz" doesn't sound like an angel to me. I usually avoid people who talk and write like that unless they are still in junior high school.
I still think Asian women have countless qualities which make them the best women around -so there.

Argentina is quite unique among Hispanic countries. First, 90 % of Argentinos are white mostly of Italian and Spanish descendents with other Europeans like Germans, Irish thrown in.
Compare that to Mexico which is about 95 % mestizos(Indian and European mix) or Indian. And most other Hispanic countries are also mostly mestizos too.
People in Buenos Aires ( capital), its known as the Paris of South America, are very trendy and very attractive people as a whole. And frankly some are quite arrogant. Argentina right now is in economic crisis and many are trying to immigrate to Italy and Spain.
I find southern Argentina most beautiful, it has beautiful untouched forests. The weather down there is similar to the Northeastern part of US or Canada. Argentina is a cool country to visit, it like piece of Europe in the middle of South America at least in Buenos Aires. Be prepared to eat alot of beef and share "mates" (sort of like tea) with everyone.
