WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
Flamenco Vixen,
I do have an accent so I guess I can add to this topic. Most of the girls I've met have enjoyed my accent. I think there's a difference between having an accent, and being eloquent and smart with language and having an accent and not being understood at all.
In Vancouver people always try to pronounce your name with the actual foreign pronounciation. I did noticed in the U.S. that many people have a hard time with foreign names and for some reason always end up making a mess out of them. When I went to visit Cali. I noticed that many of the cities where of Spanish origin, but the pronounciation!!!...I felt the language was being chopped up into little pieces.
I do have my own little theory about this language problem in the U.S., and I will continue to discuss this when I have a bit more of time. Until next time

Latino Net Detective,
I agree with you 100%. Latino dude try to put away these ethnic or cultural differences aside by concentrating on the nature of the argument. I don't think it really matters who said what but what it was said.
If you really enjoy Asian women you have respect their males. This is not like hardcore math or some type of taboo. It's just common sense.
Most of my friends are of Asian ethnic background and they have never sounded insecure about sex during our conversations. Men will be men regardless of culture or ethnic background ;)

Now whhhhhhhy don't I really believe this person is Latino or even a "dude"? Only the poster of this divisive nonsense would know who or what they really are. I think the people in here can pretty much distinguish between real posters/posts and idiots trying to stir up trouble.
If you were real I would say something like this. "Latino Dude," if you don't respect or like Asian men don't try to have relationships with AF's because in the end it will never work out. For you to be accepted into an Asian family, which you will have to do if you ever want to have a serious relationship with or marry a respectable AF, you better learn to "hang out" on a grand scale with Asian men. Do you think Asian women just magically appear out of the air? -No, they have mothers and fathers. So before you put down Asian men realize they are ½, if not more, the reason your wonderful Asian girlfriend or spouse exists and has been socialized to be so desirable. AF’s don’t just get this way by themselves or by some coincidence. I hope you and some others understand this.

Speaking of accents, I find that a lot of people in the US are intolerant of people who speak English with accents. They are just not willing to make an effort to listen and understand. As soon as they hear someone speak with an accent, it seems me that something in their brain shuts down and they stop listening because they already BELIEVE that no matter what the other person says, they won't understand.
Even an English friend of mine complained to me that he met Americans who had a hard time understanding him!
It's the same thing with foreign names. I have met people who have changed their first names to American-sounding names just to make it easier for other people. Why is it so difficult to learn how to pronounce a foreign name?

Is it true that latinos have now become the biggest minority group in US? Wow it's kinda hard to believe :P
But its a shame most of them live in the south.

I'm glad there's finally activity on this forum. For a while there was nothing being said, and if there was something said it was always bad. Forums are fun because of the many different views on single issues. Often they can become circular with the same old crap being said. Let's make sure we keep learning from one another and keep posting more positive messages, which is the key to growth and development. If someone has cultural questions please throw them in and I'll answer to the best of my knowledge. I'm pretty sure other Spanish speaking men will join too
Peace

In one word.... I believe what you're looking for is the word "PASSION". No matter what Latinos do, they show passion. When we love our family, when we cook, play music, dance and yes make love... full of passion. You can feel it. Passion transcends to all cultures. Yes, language is involved because.... we talk passionately. Women, love passion so that's an attraction. Not all of us have it, but it runs through our veins. Not to say other cultures don't have passion Italian, Afro-centric, French, Middle Eastern people exhibit these talents too. Love your hertiage like I'm quite sure you do.

Hispanics and Asians are natural allies. We have so much in common it would be a waste to throw it all away due to one moronic poster. Womanly AsianLover, you are a dorky guy of what ever nationality and you know it. Quit this nonsense already.
