Can someone please start a web site for Asian Men seeking Black Women so we can just get down to BUSINESS. I am a Black woman and I have always thought Asian men had the goodz. But how do I meet one who will like me for me and not for some stereotype? No one wants to be objectified or categorized. There should me a web meeting place where sensible Asian men and Black women can connect.

Help! from the south:

Brother, I'm probably one of the best guys on this board to give you advice on this subject. Young Jedi, I was there. Dude, you sound like you're in love and scared and unsure of yourself. I was there. I found a woman that completely turned my world upside down, we connected on so many levels and she was unlike any girl I'd dated before. I think it was the way she was worldly,deep,grounded,wild and sexy all at the same time that sent my mind to explosion. Before I knew it I had that same feeling that I couldn't commit to her yet, I couldn't live w/o her. Just give your girl and you time. Alot can happen when you just chill the f@ck out. I learned the hard way. Don't be stoopid as hell like me. I lost my mind and broke up with her, I couldn't deal. I was in a f@cked living situation, (couch surfing),working 10 hour days, and basically spent my days at work and nights with her, and weekends split between her place and my bud's apartment. I was scared I found a woman I could marry,regardless of what my parents thought, and love a longtime. It took me a couple months to get my shit together and I went back to K and just told her that I was scared and I didn't know what to do but, that I really wanted to be w/ her. You're feeling alot of things now kid, and it might be that you're unsure of yourself, afraid of the consequences or concerned about how your parents or family will react. Just go damn slowly. And stop thinking so much. It makes you doubt everything.

Ditto on when I watch "A Baby Story", I'm either tearing up at how cute the little tykes come out or I'm gritting my teeth at how hard it looks like those women have to push. (Ouch!) But A Wedding Story has the same effect, especially when they show the Groom's face when he sees his bride-to-be all princessed up. *sigh*

Help! From the South:

I think both my koi and I's biggest fear was that one would leave the other for someone of the same race. It's very difficult for us sometimes to have deal with other people who make rude comments or stare. We eventually learned to trust each other and ignore what people say and think. They're probably playa-hatin' anyway. I figure as long as you both trust each other and communicate, communicate, communicate, you should be alright. ^.~

All of these comments for the past month have been so insighful and beautiful! I think that AMs and BFs are beginning to see that we both trully have the same thoughts!! I especially thank all of you who have posted within the last month of the positive comments - without writting any negative mess to the post. One day I my prince will come to me in Houston, and I feel he will be Asian!!

I want to be secure in the fact that he really wants, love, and cherish me (I know this sounds a bit mushy) and who will appreciate the good loving (I am a very exotic person, with a vast imagination) I have to give back!!
