another thing......become friends with Ross. it's amazing how many of us go to ross and find really good shit. i think the only reason ross continues running business in the bay area is because of us. if you can't find a nice mesh dress that's cheap, i suggest you do what we used to in the early days. make it yourself. you need either, three mesh shirts ( left one untouched and cut the other two up, sew together to create the skirt portion ) or buy a gang of fishnet pantyhose and get some scissors and start cutting. my first couple of net tops were fishnets with the crotch & feet cut out, they still work fine.

if you want info on the scene, music and culture. drop me an email. i'll be glad to share with you. it's funny that you live in dc. i have a college roomate that lives there who constantly wants me to come so i can freak out her neighbors and co-workers. and so she can finally feel at home. finding black female goths on a site concerning relationships between asian males and black females.hmmmmm. i think that is auspicious.

:-: being a goth and being pagan are two totally different things. yet, whenever people speak of goth, they automatically assume something evil. some goths are christians, some goths are pagans, some are wiccans and some goths are satanics. by nature, the gothic scene tends to draw spiritual folk.
And btw, "worshipping" a goddess is the same as "worshipping" a god.

Could someone explain what makes a person goth besides the style of clothes? Just curious because I too have seen some fine black goth girls but am uneasy about approaching them because me and my friends don't look like them on the outside. Are you into vampires? I'll admit an addiction to vampire flicks and fangs.

Believe it or not, I have been a goth since I was 4 (thanks to a brother that's 13 years older than me). I think it happened whe I first heard "Cities In Dust" by Siouxsie & the Banshees! I'm not a full on GOTH, but more like a hippie-goth. I can go from Hendrix to Iron Maiden in a heartbeat. I wanna meet some AM goths, but in the midwest it's difficult. Hey for a cool korean artist, try Shin Hae Chul. I like the song "Over Action Man"! H.O.T's "Outside Castle" video is really awsome! Don't worry about going popsih by listening to boy bands, I like a female singer named Kim Hyun Jung.

Also, what's wrong with believing that God is a female. Loving, gentle, powerful... Sounds like a mother to me! I don't follow an organized religion because I want a personal relationship with God. Lastly, nobody is hating on Alicia Keys. She is classy & talented, but India is a ja-zillion times better. That's all we're saying. India was ripped off.
