Luscious Jackson,
Check out Catfish In Black Bean Sauce by actor/director/writer, Chi Moui Lo, starring Sanna Lathan, Paul Winfield, Mary Alice and Lauren Tom.
Chi Moui Lo also starred in the TV show Vanishing Son along side Russell Wong.

I personally don't have anything against Goths, It would just be nice if we can speak on another subject such as AM & BW relationships.
I'm not a Goth and I don't relate to any of this Goth stuff but I respect who and what people are or may be. To each it's own. I would just like to talk about what this forum is about anyway, AM & BW realtions.

Onto bigger and better things:
Seeing as how the topic at hand was causing some people's tampon strings to ignite, I think that what is in order now would have to be some good, classical, 'Roman' discussion.
If anyone had noticed the front page of this most wonderful site, [No...I am not being sarcastic] has a page devoted to the meshing of Black/Asian couples. I haven't noticed many posts, so I am going to drag a discussion over here with a few questions.
1) Many times on this forum, Black women go on and on about Asian culture without any regards to their own. What are your thoughts on the ignorance of Black culture? What aspects of our culture do you feel are often ignored?
2) Talking with your partner is very important but sometimes you may not get where they are coming from on the matter of Politics, Race, Religion etc. Do you avoid these topics or simply agree to disagree? What topics have you found are LEAST favorable to talk about?
3) How does age effect the common relationship? Is the partner closer to you or more mature in years? Has this set certain boundries or silent rules between you two? How does this effect his or your views on certain ideas?
These are only a few that came to mind. Quite frankly we need to move on to more intellectual posts, maybe then we will lose the trolls that seem to frequent this board so often.
In the interim I also believe that people who come here and see us bickering are taking joy in the fact that the 'nappy headed bitches' can't talk about anything better than light versus dark, weaves, and movies. (No offense but we're all college educated right?)
Anyways, start something up people...hopefully you'll rack your brain and I'll reap the rewards of seeing the minds behind the keyboards.

I agree with you Xia,
This an Asian men & Black women poll. This is not a religous Gothic site. NO OFFENSE INTENDED but this is not the poll to be talking about this. We are supposed to be talking Asian men and Black women relationships.

Xia,
I don't know what's going on here. It's ridiculous. Goth. I believe the moderators should put out a notice that this discussion needs to be moved. I've seen moderators do that on other threads.

Is anyone else here tired of the "Goth" subject? Can y'all give it a rest already? I feel as if I have been stuck watching the Forrest Gump movie where that one guy could not stop talking about shrimp!!!!!!!!!! I am not a Goth and I am not even merely interested in Gothism. I AM BLACK AND I LIKE ASIAN MEN. :?} Can we talk about that? --Oh, and I am exponentially glad that y'all finally ceased talking about Alicia and India.Arie. Thank goodness for small favors. (@v@)

For Trenee:
Goth, Goth, Goth, Black Goth, Dark Goth, Poser Goth, Wanabee Goth, Gothy Goth, Goth in Fishnet, Goth in Funeral Drag, Goth and More Goth...oh did I mention GOTH?
On AM / BW relationships, I have found Japanese men to be most open to this type of hook up, and Corean men to be less open, does anyone concur?

My husband and I also thought that the other would not find each other attractive. (I am an African American and my husband is Chinese American; we met in college) We became friends and they found love. We have been together for sixteen years and married for five. We have two daughters and a son on the way. The family situation was tough UNTIL the children came. You would never know there was a racial issue, when grandchildren are involved. And Asian/Black children are beautiful.
