I guess it can be more of a race thing. It depends though.
I think it "can" be more of religious thing.I guess it just depends on the religious values.I guess.
With my boyfriend, I am noticing more and more of his buddhist beliefs. It seems to come out more, when we are talking on very deep subjects. Like about, life and death. Its gotten even more like that, since he recently lost his father and mother.
He wants me to convert. I think it will have to take alot of thought on that. I am not so familiar with the beliefs are about.At least, not in detail.
I am thinking of visiting a local temple here, to see what its all about.

I am in Lynnwood Washington right now. I admit...it does seem to be alot different here in the states. When I was living in Tokyo...I knew alot of Konketsuji women ( half black and japanese ) who were in serious relationships with japanese men. The men were pretty cool about dating interacially and everything. They were so classy, and such gentlemen. They treated me very,very well.I was suprised when I went over there...and saw that. Because, I had heard diffent things about it. Although, I would have to say... I am not sure about the marriage thing. That could have been a difference if it came to that. I do know that you are right about the caucasian and japanese thing...I do notice here, theres alot of caucasian women with japanese men...like, engaged and everything. I don't see that many BW with them...not like the way it was in Tokyo...

I cannot speak for all Japanese men but the ones I know are very open to interracial dating, myself included. My Dad and all of his siblings are currently or have at one time been in relationships with people of other races. Fortunately for me my father ended up marrying my Mom (who is Japanese/Ainu) so I could be created. If you live in California and are looking for Japanese men you need to go to Gardena. There are a lot of local places like a bowling alley slash siamin restaurant where blacks and asians mingle openly. San Francisco has mostly Chinese. In my experience the Chinese and Japanese that live in and around Chinatown (S.F.) and Little Tokyo (L.A.) are FOB's and less interested in interracial dating. Japanese men in Hawaii and Vegas are open to interracial relationships as well.

you wanna meet asian men? then u should go to local malls like plaza bonita mall ,misson valley mall, and fasion valley mall. you'll see a lot of us in one of these spots. you can go to Mira Mesa and cruise around there. it's mostly asian(filipinos and vietnamese mostly)and white people there. It's a suburb. You could also go to the ghetto and see Cambodians, Laos and Vietnamese guys, that's if you're into thug-ass asian gangsters.
