well hey it's me Destiny again, i've been reading the polls the last couple of days and all i got to say is that ...I'm proud of being Bi-racial and by that i mean that i'm BOTH mexican and BLAck.. and maybe know more about black history than all those so called PRO-black people.

ok you said your light skinned and half white, i have to agree with nubian goddess on some of the things shes said, like alot of women who claim theyre black are actually just as much white as they are black. I mean why do people look down on theyre white side, i know these days white people are seen as un-cool. It s jsut quite sad. alicia keys?that girl is just as white as she is black in my eyes. an tiffany especially if you have fair skin and long hair, you probably look more white, so dont be surprised when people think its a bit sad when they see you relating yourself to being black when its so obvious that you look more white. Mariah Carey, 1/4 black, okay alot of the time she dosent generalize her ethnicity, but you can tell by the videos she makes that she wants people to look at her as a black woman, and really i never even knew she had any black blood in her at all before i heard it on tv.

Is this the "color poll"
or the AM and BW poll. There seems to be alot of emphasis being put on what people look like. Can we please get back to talking about AM and BW? That is what this poll is about, right? BW and AM? If some woman is that easily intimidated that they feel they have to
"jump hurdles" to be seen
they must be pretty insecure and have some serious self esteem issues to sort out. If you truly know in your heart how beautiful and wonderful you are as a woman-
Noone should be able to snatch it away from you. Noone. And why so much emphasis on color? Its stupid. Why don't all of the "light skin" haters go someplace else. And let us who are interested in the interracial union with AM get back to business. Perhaps we can have some intelligent discussions, instead of the ignorant racist crap. Those kind of racist discussions might even fit in so well on the "kkk message boards". I am sure they will welcome your ideas with open arms. Although, you might not want to mention that you are black. It might change your warm reception. Then again, you can always make up your own forums like:
"Black women who hate Black women"
or
"Black women who like Asian men, but don't like having mixed kids with them"
or maybe you could try
"Black women who like Asian men, but hate Black women"
Wow! That sounds right up your alley doesn't it. Why don't you give it some thought. It just might work for you

To everyone on here, I just want you to know this NUBIAN GODDESS is a fake fake fake. I posted on here a while ago talking about how I met my AM. I am a Poetess, and I proudly host my open mic.nights. I am open minded and carry absolutely (NONE) of the racist separate and divide views expressed by the 'artificial nubian goddess' Separate and Divide is what the 'Ku Klux Klan' 'Skinheads' and all of those racist separatist groups use. I myself would not want to take part in their beliefs. Perhaps this fake NUBIAN GODDESS may or may not even truly be a black woman. It may be a racist white or someone else portraying a black woman to rouse tensions. Maybe or maybe not. It really doesn't matter. What I am saying it that-
She is so creative, yet not creative enough to even create her own special SN. Its so pathetic. Just in case she tries to continue to steal my sn, because her brain was unable to help her process her own individuality...then I must say, there must be "two" of us. One with a kind, and creative expressive way who is open minded enough and willing to bear an interracial child who is part black and part asian (not yet, but he and I have discussed) And the other who is more interested in talking about women. She is very interested in talking excessively on and on and on about women, unlike me. So all of you will know the difference. I will be the one posting my interests in MEN and she will be the one who goes on and on about WOMEN and how they intimidate her. She will be the one who is on this poll to discuss her grand obsession with women and their color, and their hair. I personally prefer a fine AM...thats my personal preference everyone. It feels so good to be only myself and noone else. Its a sense of satisfaction indeed. You might have that to, if you ever become creative enough. Of course, that may or may not happen. That all depends on you and your openmindedness...then again...Ooops! I forgot! Your not open minded! So, I guess that will never happen honey!

Don't worry about it. What the Nubian Goddess fails to realize is that there are women in Africa who have wavy hair and are absolutely beautiful. Black women are black women and starting another board for mixed women would only allow this so called "Nubian Goddess" to have a victory that she does not deserve.
I would also like to dispel the myth that all mixed women are fair complected with light eyes. I'm of Ethiopian and French decent and have a beautiful brown skin tone and dark brown eyes. *shrug* I think a lot of the tension between darker and lighter black women comes not from our own community but from the Caucasian based media that surronds us. White has been tooted as absolute beauty for so long that soon it leaked into our own culture. Do we really want to succumb to the love affair with White American Standards that so many other minorites have slipped into? *hint hint nudge nudge cough*
