You need generalization to achieve a specific output (good or bad). In order to generalize, you need assumptions. To reduce amount of assumptions, you need bias. So without generalization, you basically can't create any output.

Also my husband and I do a bit better than most AM/WF relationships, I think, because I can more completely understand his problems of sometimes not fitting in in certain situations. In a way, he and I are both aliens yet still Americans. Also, let's keep those African women comments out of this conversation. I belong to sevaral am/wf clubs and every time that topic is brought up it brings in unsavory lurkers who feel the need to defend themselves at the expense of white females. This conversation is complicated enough with the European vs American white females and to turn it into a black female and white female debate would be silly.

You said American females are lured into some kind of system that decides for them how to dress, act, talk, think...and I do not see this as heavily among my European relatives and friends

I spent the summer in Switerland, Austria and Italy and saw as many Britney lookalikes there as here.

--Actually, that stereotype is not just limited to Europe. You hear the same stereotype about American women in parts of Asia as well, from what I understand. The standard "American women are easy sluts" type kind of talk. The people saying this also seem to be the kind that either have no real experience in interacting with Americans or their interactions are limited to the more carnal type. Sort of like getting your cultural lessons from porn...exaggerated and grossly inaccurate. Some crackers think Asian women are easy whores and some foreign men think American women are easy sluts. My, my it always seem that people who know the least are the ones most stubborn in squawking and insisting on stereotypes of the erotic nature of "exotic" other women. The category may fit some Asian and American women but it would be a dumbass mistake to assume all or even many women fit this "nothing but glorified prostitute" category. The narrower the mind, the broader the statement.

American women do not necessarily equal European lineage. They can be Native American. They can be African American as well. Now if you are saying WHITE American women , then likely yes, the heritage is European. However, the distinction being made and analyzed is cultural differences brought about by the country in which one is raised and/ or resides.And so you are then discussing NATIONALITY not race. I thought that was self evident. Its a racial issue if you wish to discuss white/black/asian. Don't confuse the issues , they are not the same. Also bear in mind, to say a white American woman who can trace her family back to Plymouth Rock is the same as someone like myself who can tell you the boat my mom sailed on to get here..thats like saying theres no difference between my mother-in-law, from Mainland China, and a person who has a Chinese relative 15 generations ago. It DOES make a difference, and there is a distinction.
I think its an interesting topic, and I am sorry some of you view this as a fight. I certainly don't view it as a fight or a competition, but I do feel obliged and entitled to respond to remarks regarding my heritage, same as the next person.

There are more Nazis in NYC than Berlin.
diffrences are German Nazis are more violent, usually less educated, skin headed,and physically strong.
on the other hand , American Nazis who live in NYC are seeimingly peace loving, educated,professional, and they don't tend to violate any law. moreover, they don't want to accept the fact that they are racists , some of them even disguise themselves as "Liberal" on contrary German Nazis proudly declare they are racists.
Most of this American Nazis, whose ancestors suffered a lot by real old Nazis, are the best pupils of Dr. Goebbels .
Isn't it ironic?
