I am an AM that lived in Oregon for a while. During that time I dated a attractive WF. She was extremely shy, beautiful on the inside and outside. Not very comfortable with her feelings about me (we were in a very small town, predominately white). We held hands at the roller skating ring. However, the relationship did not go far because I moved out of town and her family was really religious (she was home-schooled). I still think about her once in a while and about what could have been. I would have made hot tropical love to her under the covered bridges.
