For those who watch wrestling, the only good thing in terms of AM/WF relations in the media is in the WWF (World Wrestling Federation), where a full-blooded Japanese wrestler Tejiri (sp?) is working with a really attractive supermodel-esque blonde named Tori. It's very surprising to see, but I suppose it could be good for us, considering the WWF is dominated by bigger WMs, yet the writers are deciding to put her with him. They both certainly look different together, but they've got pretty good (and humourous) chemistry. So for that, props to the WWF. Now Hollywood needs to learn.

For the Asian guys who post for Mediterranean and Middle Eastern women. I think they belong in a different category, not with white women. Those women are not as racialist in thinking as Anglos and northern Europeans. Their image of masculinity is different too. Machisimo sometimes turns them off as they see too much of it in their own men. They like quiet, shy and hardworking men. They actually find Asian men too be quite similar to them, sometimes in terms of looks. Many do not even consider themselves white and neither do Anglos find them totally white.

I am a Chinese American guy who wears a mustache and likes to dress in black leather jackets. Mexican people have mistaken me for one of them by sometimes talking to me in Spanish. When I walk into a Lebanese, Persian or Armenian neighborhood, I get looks from their women. A Turkish guy I met in university told me that when he visited Tashkent, Uzbekistan on a cultural tour, the people there bore striking similarities to me. Uzbeks have both Asian and Middle Eastern features.

Blonde Anglo women cannot the see the beauty in Asian men, but Mediterranean and Middle Eastern women do.

To me, women of the Mediterranean, Middle East and Mexico are intermediate between East Asian and Anglo. They got the best of both worlds, not to mention their great personality.

Re: Ronbo (Bay Area): I'm currently out in the SF/Bay area and surprisingly, I rarely ever see a WF/AM couple... I probably see fewer WF/AM couples than back East.

A question for you all in (or been in) the Bay area or Boston (New England):
What are your experiences on this issue?

Oh! I do keep on tryin'...LOL. Interesting...I do trust in what i feel more than what it is that i hear..IE: it is more what is not said or seen than what is said, right? That inherent subtlelness? No, I do not paint all of you with that brush, else I would not be here, neh? Wakarimasu ka?
In any case, someone needed to let him know that was not acceptable, hold him accountable...hmmm?

Hey all,

All of my grandparents are mixed.
I've witnessed interracial relationships between Asians and Caucasians, and those relationships were strong, happy, and respectful.

Why? How?

The people involved completely ignored outside criticism, because the world view (generally) is unevolved, and ignorant.

I have some friends in the medical profession. He is Chinese, and she is British. She is a Fox, and I know it pisses some White dudes off when they are about to spend a lonesome friday night drinking beer, and watching the tube, and along walks this slick Asian brother with a fit and fine looking Lady who loves him in every way.
Sure it does!
...the same way it pisses off his friends who have started calling him a banana (yellow on the outside & white on the inside).

They are all jealous!

Forget about them and love who you love...
