"For those who watch wrestling, the only good thing in terms of AM/WF relations in the media is in the WWF (World Wrestling Federation), where a full-blooded Japanese wrestler Tejiri (sp?) is working with a really attractive supermodel-esque blonde named Tori. It's very surprising to see, but I suppose it could be good for us, considering the WWF is dominated by bigger WMs, yet the writers are deciding to put her with him. They both certainly look different together, but they've got pretty good (and humourous) chemistry. So for that, props to the WWF. Now Hollywood needs to learn."

That's not necessarily true. They make it out to be that Torrie Wilson is the one in total control, and Tajiri is just her slave. He looks like he doesn't know what he's doing, like Scooby Doo saying, "ME?!"

Furthermore, don't forget about Kimona Wanalaya in the old ECW. She was just a sexpot porno looking valet. Then again, all their valets looked like that, regardless of race.

It all depends on which part of the Bay you go to. In San Francisco, which has very segregated neighborhoods, you are less likely to see it. In the East Bay, San Jose, and the Valley, where all races live together, it is not such a rare occurrence.

For myself, as hard as I try, Chinese girls just ain't diggin' my style. The only Asians who even remotely check me out are Pinays (I sure ain't complaining). Other than that, most of my jocks come from Mex and white girls. Even black girls flirt with me. Now, I'm not whitewashed or anything. I'm just your typical first-gen ABC. It's just strange how there are so many Asians around, but none for me. =(

I met this super gorgeous white girl a a few years ago. She was so beautiful like a godess. Long platinum blond hair, beautiful blue eyes, cute soft voice, smooth skin, nice personality and smart. Somehow I got intimidated by that and thought she would not be interested in an Asian guy. So I just forgot about her. A few months ago, I bumped into her again and she introduced me to her boyfriend. He was ASIAN!!! I just couldn't believe that. And then I started looking back and now remembered that she did have a lot of Asian friends. I just couldn't understand where I got the idea that she wasn't into Asian guys. I think this is a lesson for me to learn. I shouldn't make any assumption before actually trying. Damn, she is a hottie!

Well, so much for my a$$umptions. The lady I met during New Years met somebody else. So, I guess I've been denied. Wow, I've been denied in the New England states and now I've just been denied in the Sunshine State. When will it ever end? I'm beginning to think it was just a one time fling thing now. I read into it too much I think. I want to think that part of the reason is because i'm up north here that I couldn't do anything.

The ladies in the New England states are open-minded but to everybody else EXCEPT asians. I've rarely seen WF give the time of day to us, and I've tried so many times. I will say i'm in CT and that's the one of the reasons why I'm moving out. Even though I got denied I still think the people down south in the Sunshine State are more open-minded. Why? My WF friend who is married to an asian guy used to live down there and she was telling me how they were treating him like a regular guy. Not just some asian guy. He was given a lot of respect. New England states are too WASPy. I see so many of them here and try to talk to them but always get that just "friends" response. Just as they get in their car to drive off I hear 2Pac playing in her car and a sticker on her windshield of 2Pac giving you the finger. Open-minded? Yea, but what about asian guys?
Can it be the area I live in? I'm going to ask anyway. Anybody on this board from CT? Because I don't want to be the only one ranting and raving about this.
