I just love asian men with ink.I find it superb!!Very sexual!My husband is Asian ,he has a beautiful colourful tattoo on his arm and he would like to have one on his back.i don't mind at all. It gives a certain charms,in my eyes. So if you have an inkie stick with it, it's for life,don't have to be ashamed of it.

I always worried that my Corean parents would have a hard time accepting my caucasian girlfriend but they realized I was serious with her. So to my surprise accepted her easily. I think if he really loves you he will still choose you over his parents' wishes if they didn't accept you.
I think most Asian parents eventually come around to accepting their children's spouses. I know I would be really impressed that you speak Corean fluently. My wife only knows few phrases.

Hopeful American Girl, most Korean guys will not introduce any girlfriend, Korean or otherwise, to their parents unless they are about ready to marry them. Traditionally speaking, for a Korean guy to bring home a girl to meet the parents means he's very very serious about you and the meeting is an indication of this to the parents. Obviously, this is very different from the American practice in which American parents just want to meet who their kids are going out with, and for American dad to show any potential boyfriends his gun collection and the dangers of making hurting their little princess.

That being said, you are probably right in thinking that his parents would not like the idea of their son, especially an oldest or only son, marrying a non-Korean. Even if your kids looked completely Korean, many Korean parents wouldn't be exactly be jumping for joy at a foreigner daughter-in-law. It would be like you having a close intimate dinner for your closest friends only and a complete stranger all of a sudden barges in. A great deal of the opposition will be because they do not know how exactly to treat you or they feel uncomfortable with a foreigner in what is supposed to be a Korean family. However, your ability to speak Korean fluently should be a big plus. If you can show a genuine appreciation of Korean culture, respect to the parents, well-educated, and that you truly love their son and have a good heart you stand a decent chance if his parents are at least somewhat reasonable. It just depends on the particular attitude of his parents' personalities.

If you "acted shy" when you were dating the man who eventually became your husband, well, acting is another way of pretending or being a fake. So, your husband actually dated one kind of woman, who imo was being somewhat dishonest, when he actually married another one. When did you let the real you come out, after the honeymoon? This is one reason why I stick to long courtship's with white women. Just in case I think I end up with a nice, quiet, sweet girl who is actually the complete opposite of what she decides to present to me in order to, as you said, get what you want. Acting belongs in the theater, not in relationships.

In most part of Asia, tattoos are usually associated with gangsters. The Asian media portrays this association too. A woman having a tattoo might be considered the girlfriend of a gangster!

I think most of AM like smooth and ink-less skin!
