Could you share with us in detail what you learned to overcome the barriers? I think I am beginning to feel "it" coming now for myself cause I am seeing some changes happening in the past couple of months, but I can't pinpoint what happened. It's not so completed yet, so maybe I can get the final "ingredient" from you?

I live in the midwest ( Iowa ) and have a Chinese husband. Having never lived elsewhere, I can't fairly compare - but based on some of the postings I have read across this site, I think the Midwest may be equally tolerant, if not more so . Some on another poll were talking about how they have to carry weapons because of the problems they encounter being in a WF/AM relationship. This is just unreal to me!! At least I have never heard of this level of hostility in my state or region.
What kind of situations are you coming up against?

Megan. Who cares? Its a message board. You don't make yourself look much better than whatever that ( long forgotten) post may have said when you use foul language. I now walk away from your post thinking " wow what a pig mouth!". So see, just being silent or taking the high ground would have served you better. Now you came across so bad , you make it seem MORE likely you wrote the bad post. Think think think, people!

I like the way cantonese sounds. It sounds so pretty and smooth. When a man speaks in english with that accent, its such a turn on. I think it sounds so sexy!
I still haven't mastered it completely, I am still learning. I am studying mandarin too. Mandarin sounds nice too, but I admit that my favorite is cantonese though.

The man I am in a relationship is from Thailand. I love the way he speaks and pronounce words. Sometimes there is languages barrier with us. Especially if we disagree on somethings.I go on to him in speak bosnian and he doesnt understand what I saying to him. Sometimes I can undestand his language. I only know some words on Thai. Not so many.I have only lived in there for one month before.That is all.
I do speak Japanese and French language also, is much better. I skepticel on writing this message, my englis is not always so good. Sorry if is too bad. I see this site and is good for me. I like it much thankyou.
