actually, she wrote me back last week, and when I replied the next day, she responded within half an hour.

There is an important piece of info that I forgot to mention. The first weeks after we were emailing each other, she actually asked me out for coffee. I said yes, but because of some miscommunication on the day we were supposed to meet, we didn't get to see each other. I ended up going out with my buddies. When I got home at night, I found her message in my machine. I called her back right away and we talked only briefly. She said it was her bed time.

A couple of weeks later, I asked her if she wanted to go out in the park. This is the time when she wrote me back saying that she had a boyfriend. (All this time she had never mentioned about him at all) She reminded me of the time when I called her at night when she said she couldn't talk much because it was her bed time. She apologized if she sounded wierd that night. She said her bf was actually next to her and he wasn't too happy that I called her late night. She said she had no choice but telling him everything about me. She said she would like to meet me in the park but she couldn't.

After this point, I still kept in touch with her but I toned down my messages. I didn't call her anymore, only emailing. Then, one day she told me she broke up with him. She said she had been wanting to do it for a very long time but had no strength until now. That explained her no-bf behaviour. (All the guys thought she was single.) I think she kinda mentioned that he was too controlling or something.

After the breakup, I kinda pursue her a bit harder, like calling her again and asking her out.

So that's the part that I forgot to say. I don't know if it changes any of your opinions. I must admit I really don't know much about this girl. But she seems to be a polite and friendly (and rather shy?) type. That makes me wonder if her nice gesture to me has been out of politeness and friendliness, not anything else. But a guy in the hospital who saw me talking with her thought that she might like me from the way she gave me attention.

But again, I could be totally wrong. She could just be playing with me like many of you said. I wish I could tell that.

By the way, her last email ended with a question for me: "Any plans for the weekend?"

What is this supposed to mean?
