I'm sorry to crash the brunette appreciation party, but goddamn, are blondes hot or WHAT? I don't blame my attraction to blondes on social conditioning or even a fetish -- they're just hot! What's not to like? I've always liked all types of girls, but just 'rediscovered' my flair for blondes! I was looking at an internet articel about Tiger Woods' victory this week on the PGA tour, and I found a link to his new girlfriend's site -- she is HOT !
Sorry if I sound like some internet perv -- I'm actually a quite normal, cool guy! I guess I just have a thing for Swedish blondes. Interestingly enough, I don't find American blondes as attractive. Since they're all blonde, the personality must be the deciding factor in my attraction to blondes. Maybe its a cultural thing -- I feel that Scandanavian blondes aren't as put off by the race issue as American blondes (or any AMerican white women) are. In short, I feel that they are more open minded. I am definately going to sweden next summer. =)

To me, the most important thing in a white female from a mental/emotional standpoint is that she understands the pressures of being an oppressed minority male in a hostile society. Although she cannot possibly fully understand it, she must at least make an effort to do so. Any thing along the lines of "Honey, you're just being paranoid" or any eye-rolling means she gets her ass kicked to the curb. No more Asian luvin' for her.

I really dont think any white celebraties look good. But Heidi Klum looks decent. I think the most beautiful women dont become celebrities. cause celebrities go on the "casting couch" and quality women dont do that.

Another big turnoff is most celebraties are sluts. Man they get married as a joke, divorce, marry, etc. So thats not appleaing either.

Are there any white women here married to asian men? If so, did you keep your name, change your name, or hyphenate? If you changed your name, does it cause confusion or strange looks? I haven't decided what to do if (and hopefully when!) my b/f and I get married..

AM Islander,

Interesting you should ask as I had just finished watchiing a movie with the lovely and talented Canadienne actress, Sarah Polley, in GUINEVERE. She was also in GO with another one of my favorite actresses, Katie Holmes (great in WONDER BOYS). I love the fact that she, Ms. Polley, has remained true to herself as a social activist notwithstanding her Hollywood success.

My other favorites run the gamut from Uma Thurman and Michelle Pfeiffer (both were excellent in DANGEROUS LIASONS) to Jodie Foster (loved her in LITTLE MAN TATE & CONTACT), Susan Sarandon (in the timeless THELMA & LOUISE) and Anne Archer (wife of Jack Ryan in CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER).

Zoiks...I'm beginning to think I spend way too much time watching movies... heh heh. Hmmm, wonder if it's because of my latent desire to be a screenwriter instead of what I'm currently doing, but I digress.

To answer the height question,

I'm 5'4 and my boyfriend is 5'8, I think it's a perfect height. Since I usually wear heels, about 2 inches, his head is just a little bit above mine. Height really isn't a big deal when I look at a potential boyfriend, it's really the overall package. I actually don't like dating very tall men, it's just too awkward. My ideal is between 5'6 and 5'10. Not to say that I would never consider dating a guy that was shorter or taller than that, depends on the guy. Anyway, 5'8.5 sounds perfect. Good luck! ;)
