Hi, this is Christian Asian Guy. By the way, I am not trying to say how great I am or how attractive I am. Do not misunderstand me. I am just trying to say if you are going to have sexual relationship wait until you find the perfect love. It is not good to divorse, but sometimes you cannot avoid it. Therefore, have patience. If you cannot find the one whom you really love, then it is better to stay single all your life. That is my opinion anyways.

You are not alone on your sex life. I am 31 years old, and I have never done it before. It is for two reasons: first, when I was in university, I had a lot of temptations. Lots of Asian girls think I am hot, but I never wanted to lie or hurt anyone so I never got involved sexually. Lots of guys become friends with girls and have sex just to relieve their unversity pressure and stress. Often girls get hurt because they thought guys love them. I never wanted to make a girl cry. After university, I also met some white girls who "hit on me" at work; even now, there is a white girl who really likes me at work. She gives me the stares, etc, likes to talk to me for no reason. I never wanted to take an advantage of them. Second reason, I do not want to get AIDS or other STD's.
I am getting older now, the temptation is not as great as before.

I know two sisters from Missouri married to East Asians...it became too tough with their families...one is now with USAID in Africa and the other is working for a corporation in India...they meet every Christmas in the Maldives, Mauritius or Singapore. After years of not seeing their now teenage children, their family wants them to come home. However, they do not plan on returning to the good old USA.

Times are great for AM-WF relationships, and will only get better. I'm 36 and remember how much less attractive WF found us in America as boyfriends and husbands in the '80s. After returning from 10 years in Toronto on a company transfer, it was refreshing to see things changing for us for the better. I see the speculative and sometimes-admiring gazes from WF in my office, at the gym and on the streets of NYC. Women have their individual tastes, you never know what each individual woman finds attractive! Some interesting contrasts:

-Heavier, plain-looking WFs walking past me with that "You're Asian, you're not good enough for me" look.
-The stunning 22-year Pamela Anderson receptionist, the one that all the guys in the office want and hit on, flirting with me and dropping hints of her receptiveness on every occasion, even though I am only friendly and cordial with her.
-Working out at the health club, and being watched covertly in the mirrors by pretty, slim WF. Many AA men have athletic and youthful physiques!

The times are on our side. Just be yourself, I can see how WF are appreciating AA men as having a lot of qualities that I think make us the best mates and boyfriends. Good luck!

I think it's great that you're a Christian SOG. Are you a virgin too? You wouldn't be a virgin if you were my boyfriend because I don't think sex is overrated. I think sex is underrated. Just the touching and deep kissing is a turn on. I love the way Asian men kiss and neck and make love. Before I dated Asian men, I thought that they would be meek in bed. Boy, was I wrong! Parental pressures to marry AF? My parents are first-generation, but have lived here for 25 years. Being the favorite son of 4 children, they would prefer that I marry an AA female (my mother's Taiwanese matchmaking circles are impressive!), but they know that will never happen. They respect me as a friend and a man, and their most important wish is that I'm happy and have my own family before they pass away. Like many AA parents, they hope my future wife will be educated, kind, family-oriented, from a decent background and my closest friend. If anything, they're hoping I marry my WF high school friend; she's a former runway model (tall, blonde, slim) and a good friend. But repulsive realtionship material; I eventually learned who you date and who you marry are two different cats! My future wife being white will not detract from how much they approve of her... and yes, Ma understands she will not be #1 anymore when I marry! If anything, they are more worried that no-one will be around to "take care" of me, even though I fought with Special Forces in the Gulf War ans was decorated in battle. And my Mom is dying for more grandchildren, and someone to gossip and joke with! *smile*

I love the deep South! I've been there many times; mostly to Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama. And let's be honest; there's nothing sexier than a southern accent. I have yet to meet an Asian woman with a southern accent, but I'm sure it would catch me completely off guard.

By the way, here's a fun weekend activity that I used to do with my roommate. Log on to one of the online matchmaking sites like 'match.com', where people list their preferred ethnicities on their profiles. Naturally everyone puts down 'white,' but a lot of women also put down 'Asian' over other ethnicities.

No, 5'9" is not short at all--as a matter of fact, according to GQ Magazine, it's the exact height of the average American male. (The average American male is also 180 lbs, and has a six inch--ahem...) However, it's not *tall* per se. Maybe amongst Asian communities it's on the tall side, but on a global scale, it's just average.

I can't speak for women, but sex is GRRRRRREEAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!! (Sorry--I'm probably not making it any easier to be Christian...)

I'm afraid I have to disagree with you; Asian women are just as hot as white women. I'm not going to launch into a debate on their relative merits, but I'd encourage you to recognize that your own preference is based on an attraction to something different, and perhaps exotic. The reason is that I have a lot of white friends who say basically the same thing that you do, only with the ethnicities reversed. I have one Jewish friend in particular who says that 90% of Asian women are 'super-hot', while only 10% of white women are hot. Now, I don't agree with this per se, but I think his fetish is based on the fact that Asian women present a very unique and different look for him, in the same way that white women present a unique and different look for us Asians. (Being Jewish, however, he only plans on marrying another Jewish woman.)

By the way, if you had posted these comments here about two months ago, you probably would have received some email from an unfortunate character named Matt Richardson, who would have accused you of having a self-loathing complex. That was totally racist. I don't tolerate racism against Asians, and so I don't tolerate it against anyone else. Jews in America have suffered many of the same setbacks that Asians have, and yet have triumphed in adversity the same way that Asians have. By "cook," I meant that I don't cook big, manly meals like June Cleaver. I eat salads. One of my AM buddies told me that it's normal for AFs to have dinner ready for their husbands. (His sisters bring meals over to him because he won't/doesn't cook!) Why don't they just hire a maid? And I didn't know that AFs are hard to deal with, too. I'll have to go and investigate that. Maybe all women in general are difficult. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The above mentioned type of AMs wouldn't last...they would starve, and walk around wearing wrinkled shirts. Would I take my own advice? Yep. If taking my own advice means emailing someone I don't know, will I do it? Nope. Sorry. No offense.

Another thing my friend told me was that AMs do not wear undies under their pants when they are at home, as he made readily apparent to me. Is this true? Why would he do/say such a thing? That is a bit pervy, not to mention gross.

You will find that both Chinese and Japanese American men have a fairly high rate of interracial marriage. Korean and Vietnamese have a someone lower rate, most likely for a variety of reasons. Perhaps one of the most telling is the length of time the family has been in the U.S., if the parents are from Asia, I think the pressures are much higher to marry within ones group.
