Masayo - Thank you for alerting me to that web site. The numbers were very interesting and give me possible hope. I'm still hurting right now though and am not interested in any relationship at the moment. As a WFI think I do have a fetish for AM - my head is on a swivel stick whenever I see one in my peripheral vision. There is something so fascinating about you guys.

I was saddened to read this paragraph on the Asian Nation site:
"However, for both husbands and wives and all Asian ethnic groups, the percentage of being married to another Asian American is higher than that for being married to Whites, except for Filipino American women. In other words, these days Asian Americans are much more likely to marry another Asian American than to marry a White person."

I can't help but feel that the odds are stacked too highly against WF and AM having serious relationships which lead to marriage. Maybe it's safer to admire from a distance.

2hot 2handle wf - Yeah, I'm no June Cleaver either, but sometimes like to prepare a special meal. Sorry, but your AM sounds lazy to me. Guess he hasn't figured out yet that he will have to make an effort when he meets that special gal. I think it's very masculine and sexy when a guy knows how to cook - what's he going to do if he's ever completely on his own, no female family members there to run around and baby him. Geesh - does he ever have any relationships?

Sociologist - good point. Tell me something, why is it necessary for Asians (male & female) to hang around in cliques at college. I'm a bit of a loner, yeah I have a bunch of friends at school but don't need to hang in a big group to feel secure. I sure stay away from white dudes who need that security - I thought AM's had stronger characters, but I see a lot of that separation from caucasians going down.

There are indeed 31 year old virgins, and it's their choice if they decided to be virgins or not. Not because they are lying or disfigured. I agree with you that guys get hurt more often when it comes to sex, and that there are more ladies that are open-minded when it comes to sex.

Personally, I think you are a bit too hard on that Asian Christian Guy. So, what if he has the "Puritan Ethic". Some people are happy to live by their "Puritan Ethics", and some people are also happy to drop the "Puritan Ethics".

For your information, I'm a Catholic but I'm pretty much open-minded though. I disagree with what some Catholics say, and I also disagree on what some "non-religious" people say.

What is the difference between taoist and daoist? I know it sounds dumb but I really would like to know. I have heard those words used before on television.

Sorry for so many different questions. I have one more. What is the difference between the buddhist religion and the chinese monk religion? I have had an interest in the oriental culture for quite a while now. I have met alot of exchanged students on campus and it sparked my intrests.

About the blonde and brunette thing? I'm a blonde. I don't see what the big deal is really. Everyones the same. We all come from blood cells in the evolution period that took place back with our ancestors. We all come from the same ecosystems right you guys? So whats the big deal then. No one should argue about it. Its just a matter of what a man likes about a woman. Thats the most important thing.

There's only one other reason to be that old and a virgin and that is shyness. So many men are so shy they can't meet women. I was one of them! I am 26 and finally got my first girl. Why? Because racism hurt me to the extreme and made me very shy and self-conscious. I had to fight so hard against my shyness, to grow a backbone, and finally did at this age. But my brothers are 30 and still suffer!
