Tom isn't Short, but Dustin and Al are,
if Tom Cruise is confirmed at 5'8", 5'9" with shoes on, he must be at least 5'6", 5'7" w/o shoes. he's hollywood, so its most likely he wears special shoes. maybe discreet lifts or insoles. i wouldnt be surprised if it gives him an extra 2 or more inches. still think he isnt short?

I think caucasian and Asian Male relationships have such a hard time. It is rarely seen in the media. I think there should be more recognition given to these relationships. What do you guys think?

Hello Venice girl,
The Daoism and Taoism are same thing. Because "T" is actually pronounced "D." I believe this is due to Ping-Ying syllable where "T" is suppose to pronounce "D." Of course please correct me but don't osterize me because I'm incorrect! But you can check'em out on the web and see the teaching. Yes, Taoism is obviously Chinese origin which I believe founded in pre-Han era.
The Chinese monks are monks of Buddhist religion. Before buddhism in China, there were no monks because many were Confucian scholars. Yes, even Shaolin monks are buddhist monks as well as Zen monks in Japan.

I guess there are many interesting questions regarding to interracial relationship. There is no point debating each situation because they are all unique. But I'll put in my 2 cents.
Most Asian parents usually expect their children to look after them when they get older. That's the traditional Asian family bondage. Thus especially for mothers, they would prefer in-laws to be someone from their own culture. It's nothing racial in their part, but that's how they were taught.
Of course, many new generation of Asians start to deviate from this. So statistics alone does not necessary represent the successful rate of marriages among ethnicity. Some are married but not necessary have real relationships any more. This is also true in Asians.
So any WF who wants to have relationship or marriage with AM, don't be despair. Not everybody is attached to family obligation.
I currently do live by myself and not attached to family obligation because they can manage themselves and they don't have any expectation of whom I decide to associate. Appearantly some parents know when to let their children live their lives and some parents do not.
Last and not least, overall I believe women are beautiful regardless of ethnicity. Some prefer blondes or brunettes, but right now people can change hair colors left and right so I think it's irrelevant to pick which one is better. Heck, majority of Japanese bleach their hair anyway!

i think this cook cleaning thing must give both ways...the women must know how to cook and clean...i can cook but then i prefer women to cook for me...went she cook i help to take care the kids..and we help each other to wash the dishes...went she cleans the house if she need any help i help ..but then if she very tried to cook then i do the cooking...so thats how it goes...

Sounds like the media is all hype.
As an ABT, I have a couple cousins that are married to white females and they're very happy. I don't have a preference and if I met a WF and the relationship is good I would have no problems with marriage.
Now if I can only find those WF that are interested in AM around here....

Don't worry about whether or not the odds are stacked against Asians marrying non-Asians, just go for what makes you happy! When I read those types of things I find it discouraging too, but the fact is that there are plenty of happy AM/WF couples, some married with kids and very happy lives. Don't let anyone or anything get you down, you never know what you can have in life until you try.

I guess I've been lucky when it comes to family pressure on who I date. My parents are completely open minded and don't care who I date as long as I'm happy. They have never expressed their displeasure in any of my past relationships. And they have never asked me to date an AF (which I would but have never had the opportunity to do so). I have the freedom to go into a relationship without the burden of my family's acceptance. The only pressure that I have is being accepted by her family but that's never been a problem. Again, I guess I've been lucky.
