Hi to all. I've been reading these posting and some of them are very interesting. While reading these post I sometimes wonder of who is writing it. Anyway all these name or ID seems to be mixed up and confusing to tell if the person writing is a male or female. So can someone please clarify that for me. Who here is a WF and how many of you are here. WF if you wish you can gives us a clue or signal that you are a WF. Maybe after your title you can put something like(WF) next to it. I am also wondering if this is only AM and WF here chatting, or others as well.

I was just telling Goldeneye what works in Boston. That's a largely Irish/Italian town. Irish are drinking people. Italians are partying people. When you go out in Boston, you run into the Irish and Italian girls in lots of places.
NYC is different. I think NYC is actually one of the worst towns for AM's looking to hook up with WF's; there are so many ethnic groups there and enough of each, that AM's are expected to find women from their own groups ...what do you think?

I think Korean men are the most manly. They are the most built and tallest. Sure I see some tall, handsome, built Chinese guys, but I think overall in America, Korean guys are the biggest and most built. They also tend to have more chiselled facial features. Personality and intelligence is important too, but in terms of the 'beef' factor, Korean guys take the cake. ;) One serving of Kalbi for this Irish/German-Jewish girl!

I have never been attracted to an AM in my life before. I don't know, they just don't do it for me. I have caught a lot of AM's staring at me however, which i find is annoying. My sister is dating an AM, there fore i went on this post to see what is so good about AM's. so far i haven't found anything but superficiality and shallowness. If you are going for someone's looks, you're never going to last.

That's was quite interesting, I also had my little sister's white girlfriends professing they had crushes on me. I was told this by my sisters. But as you, I never acted on it because they were my kid sister's friends. That would be border line incest, lol.
Just kidding, if I had the chance to meet few of them now after all these years I wouldn't mind hooking up if I wasn't married.
Of the three major relationships (lasting over four years each) my first white girlfriend told me she never had any attraction for Asian men until me
( i married her), then my next serious girlfriend from Northern Italy said she always had an attraction for Asian men, my present wife told men she also never had an attraction for Asian men either until she met me. So I don't really think there is an obvious pattern.

Samantha, hear it from another female perspective: If my bf was caught looking at other models, (by the way I am a model as well) i would be really enraged. Cuz I truely believe that "a man commits adultery in the heart before he commits it in the flesh." u should watch out for this guy. I also read in cosmo magazine about guys sexual fantasies that when they are doing their gf's when they are about to orgasm they think about that pretty model that they look at pictures of. Unfair thing is that, models wouldn't look so beautiful without the computer technology of airbrushing and retouching and not to mention makeup. (trust me i know this for a fact, my pictures are ten times better than the real thing, not to put myself down or anything) But guys don't realize that, they are stuck in some illusional land. and they love to look at pictures (married or not).. its just easy on the eyes. guys are horny and always will be. ugh

for a yalie, your pretty clueless. the girl is only 3 years your junior, not a toddler. it's ok to ask her out. i wounldn't ask my best friend's sister out, but i don't have any qualms asking my sister's best friends out if the age is close, as in your situation. again, same advice i gave psychologue, if it's not too late, try to start something now.
to have a girl genuinely interested in you for who you are is a rare find. unlike men, women are very picky. guys ask any good looking girls out and play the numbers game in the hopes that they will find a match. if this girl has her eye on you, half the work of gaining and maintaining her interests is done. now all you have to do is be yourself and see if you enjoy her personality. give her the opportunity to reveal herself and see if you find her qualities admirable. then take it from there.
long story short, i had a girl expressed interest in me. however, i was too busy chasing and trying to win over someone else's heart and let the real and genuine one slip away. live and learn.

I suppose you can put a negative spin on these developments. I certainly don't think these portrayals of Asian men with white women that have been mentioned are in any way sufficient. You're absolutely right about a peck on the cheek not being that big a deal.
Still, it is a beginning, at least a step in the right direction.
I've never seen "off-center." Is that character in a relationship with a WF? I guess being a complete idiot isn't such a bad thing on television. That's the only thing people seem to watch.

Asian Brother, interesting story. You bring up good points. I had a Vietnamese friend when I was in high school, and I developed a huge crush on him, but both of us were too shy to do anything about it so nothing happened. Such a shame! He was about 5'11 and gorgeous. I also started reading about Buddhism when I was in my teens. I dated my first Asian man in college. I think it might be a mistake to discount dating any WFs that have dated AMs before. On the contrary, dating him gave me some insights into Asian culture, got me to try new foods, learn about his life and the hardships of growing up Asian American.
