Too bad you really don't know what you are talking about. It's unfortunate that you let your bad experience in Bali sour you on the idea of dating Asian men. I'm sure you have many other stories, as well.---All about lying asian playboys. I suppose you shouldn't date men at all, since asian men aren't the only ones that do this. As for people like the one's you saw in Bali. Most people don't realize that these people are a product of western imperialism. Morals come only to cultures that can afford it. For those that basically can not self-sustain themselves with exporting goods or tourism, they unfortunately resort to thievery and mind-games. Such is the case in many African, Latin and Asian countries. I'd venture to say that not all Asian men would do this. And not just the ones that are in America. Some people retain their integrity no matter how tough the times are.

I've always been a rather shy person myself and hesitant to make the first move even if all the signals were there. But as soon as you came over to me to strike up a conversation I would have been excited to make your acquaintence. Too bad I never had the chance to meet you!

I failed to mention something important in my post. It was not just my trip to Bali that brought me to realize that all asian men are bad. Before my trip I have had nothing but bad experiences with them. My ex was a complete cheating, lying backstabber. He was japanese. After him I had another boyfriend who was chinese. He was a lying scoundrel who was only interested in my bank account in the end. He was a user and a womanizing manipulator. I went to the united states and met other asian men. They are the same. All of them. A friend of mine is dating a man from Japan. She said that he is very considerate and loving. I don't really think shes telling me the entire story. I think hes probably after her money too. Just like the rest of them are. I sometimes still find asian men so attractive. But I just don't know why they are so terrible with women. Why do they want to mistreat them so?

I never saw the movie "Blackhawk Down", as I am not keen on action movies anymore. And movies are movies, directed by those who have never been or seen combat, so I wouldn't be looking for realism in a movie (I know the book author and Somalia vets had a raging feud with the director about misrepresenting their experiences, but that's another story). I fought alongside them all: Deltas, Rangers and SEALs in the Gulf and Somalia, and it takes a lot to get there, believe me. The cruelty you need to muster to be there... it's unimaginable. It's a mixed blessing looking younger than my age, but... that's how life turned out for me. Being the "kid" at board meetings (and the only non-white) of 40-50 year old white males, you'd better be prepared for gawking and extra scrutiny! A question: for the AMs, do you find that WFs mistake you for being younger? Similarly for the WFs, have you found yourself approaching an AM, yet discover him to be older than you thought (or wanted)? What happened? I know that many AMs have youthful faces and physiques and I like pretty, attractive WFs just as much as any other guy, but I've seen that a lot of the female attention I've attracted has been from the 18-25 age group. At this point in my life, I'm looking to meet a woman for more serious intentions and I've found that 18-25 year old girls just aren't emotionally prepared for marriage. Or even worse, being hit on by 40-something women looking for young "boys" to spend the night with! *smile*
