WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
A question for WF or anybody with experience with WF from Australia. I was visiting a friend two hours away this past weekend. And I was behind this beautiful Australian girl in line at the cash machine. She turned around smilingly after her withdrawal and asked me about her receipt/print out, if rather the balance shown is before or after the transaction. I would have started a conversation and maybe try to get her number if i didn't live two hours away. Did i miss my chance or is my radar off? She might be a new student at a local college and she does has a temporary plate on her car. She also has the cutest accent which make me believe she probably is from Australia. Are they into Asian guys or am i reading too much into it. Damn this always happen to me away visiting.
Hot guy who can't read women too well

Ok, I said I wouldn't post any more on the "gym guy," but this is about me personally. Never once have I stated that "all Asian men are bad," nor have I judged them all based on one particular person. Do not put words in my mouth. I am not so naive as to buy into the "one bad apple" theory. I fully intend to meet more AMs, if the opportunities arise.

You're entitled to your opinion. It's not so much that the guy didn't live up to my "fantasy," as much as it was that I felt hurt. I'm very shy, and had been admiring him for a long time, trying to summon enough courage to speak to him. And when I finally did, I got lied to, bragged to, and brushed off, in a very arrogant, insensitive manner. He could've said "I'm not interested in dating right now," or told me he has a girlfriend or something, rather than telling me he's interested and giving me false hopes, and then avoiding me like a child. That's why I was upset; I was hurt.
BTW, I enrolled in college on Friday, and saw a nice-looking AM/WF couple holding hands. I also saw a lot of handsome AMs. I think I'm going to like school. :)

"A friend of mine is dating a man from Japan. She said that he is very considerate and loving. I don't really think shes telling me the entire story. I think hes probably after her money too. Just like the rest of them are"
This is utter bulls***. Japan has the 2nd largest economy in the world, and the 3rd highest GNP per capita, after Luxembourg and the US. They hardly need your money, darling. You wish.
Duh.... gitcho-self edumacated.

"We need LAW AND order on this forum and I am it."
-- Dude, shut up. You can't tell me what to do.
Wish I had this power, be the forum police. lol =)
-- Yeah, I'll bet you do.
...anyway, now that I'm done dispensing pleasantries, I want to profess my attraction to WFs. I especially love bookish but still sexy brunettes and athletic, tanned blondes. They are fine as hell. My love goes out to you.
WFs are fine.

Hi all,
I don't know who to direct this to exactly but so many people's remarks make me think of all sorts of things... In a perfect world we would all be here to encourage each other positivly because everyone out there is not as ready as some of us are to accept WF/AM relationships. For me, it was the kind of thing where I looked past race, to just the person. And that's what we all are here. We are all PEOPLE. Some are bad, some are good, liars, sweethearts... There are all kinds in this world. Some have bad experiences with a few guys/girls. Don't you all believe you control your own destiny??
IMHO, I believe that everything in this universe achieves a balance somehow; so for every bad man (or woman) there would be a good one. What do you all think?
We have to stop nit-picking everyone and get to know people before we judge them.
Some stuff to think about...

rahwana -
thanks for the offer. i was just curious because i work for a typical early stage tech-focused vc, and that was the 1st time i'd heard of a vc that deep in the south. i deal with rtp/nc vcs fairly regularly but that's not really 'deep south'. if you are govn't affiliated, obviously your model is different from ours. best of luck.

FORUM POLICE,
and who made you the forum police? say, ever heard of censorship and being closed-minded and intolerant of other people's opinions. those who have negative things to say about WF or AM speak for themselves and everyone know where they come from. but other than that don't you think the "editors" pretty much keep things under control?
ACLU all the way
