For your information, Beauty Pageants in Philippines is not funded by the goverment. It has nothing to do with governments at all. The Filipinos are not focusing on beauty pageants. It's just part of our culture.

And FarEast Asian countries don't care about beauty pageants? Is that why the Koreans had bankrolled beauty pageants in their country? Is that why they keep sending delegates from year to year?

YOU WANNA KNOW THE TRUTH? Koreans are the only Asians who has done so much plastic surgery in their bodies. Talking about eyelids? Yeah, they're so beautiful that they wanna have double eyelids. Insecure people? Tell me about it. Why? Tired of having the same faces? Where's the diversity of beauty in you people. You certainly look the same. F*cked up eyes: slanted, wayward, no eyelids, squatty bodies, bowlegged legs.

Did you like to hear your fellow asians discrminate on you? Well, you gotta love that honey.

What facts are you talking about? Your facts are lies. Can't you read? There are at least 20 Filipinos currently ranked compared to Koreans. Not to mention the past world champions. Now, that's a fact. Facts that you need to admit.

There's a big difference of Asian Games and World Championship Games. Go figure!

I don't know how Asians feel, but he's not getting any love from me that's for damn sure.

The problem with Tiger Woods is he comes across as an uptight wannabe frat boy with big ass teeth. The guy does absolutely nothing for me at all.

He needs a major PR refinishing. Somewhere along the line he forgot to learn how to come across as a likeable guy. It's not just about playing a sport exceptionally well.

Yes, Chan Ho Park made a huge mistake by going to the Texas Rangers. My guess is he'll be back in a Dodger uniform next season. South states suck. He needs to be in sunny California where he has a loyal fan base. His agent screwed him by sending him to Texas for more money.

However, he seems like a likeable guy. I'd have a beer with Ichiro or Chan Ho any day before even looking in Tiger Woods direction.

Now, who is my favorite Asian athletic? Hands down - Hideo Nomo. The guy is a work horse. He's been there for the Dodgers since coming on board in 95'.

I have to agree with you about Kung Fu being a secretive Art especially shaolin kung fu but of course idiots who don't any thing about it will dismiss it as a dance show...or the usual if kung fu is so great why isn't there any kung fu fighter in UFC or Pride etc...I have no illusion when i say kung fu is the most lethal martial arts in the world having train in praying mantis kung fu for about 11 years i can say it has more than once save my life when i was living in L.A...no doubt i will get laugh at for this post but who cares ...

I supposed I will get hate mail, but I see a lot of arrogant Korean posters- can't you say anything new???!

All you write are how Koreans supposedly dominate other Asians in boxing, wrestling, martial arts, etc. About how Koreans are supposedly the most athletic Asian ethnicity. About how Koreans are bigger and stronger than any other Asian ethnicity. That is all subjective. I believe that if other Asian ethnicity would devote as much time, they could be at the level.

This smells a lot like the days when Hitler thought that the "Aryan" race was superior to others and better than others in sports.

You guys are just overrating yourself. Koreans are good in many sports, but certainly not the best athletes in every single sport in Asian (including the so-called "macho" sports). And in terms of the world, Koreans are not among the best athletes in the world. Sorry to shatter your soapbox.

You said "half of the players did not live within the city limit" which is also why they got disqualified. Don't try to gloss this over since half of the team were not from anywhere near the city limits. They were from all over the country!!! Blatant cheating!! It's pitiful how you're trying to make it appear as if it was all by accident.

Tests have shown that athletes who have a high intake of red pepper perform better in athletics. So yes, we Koreans will keep eating kimchi.

Anyways, please check the medal standings of the Olympics. The Chinese women garner most of the them. How appropriate since all communists countries go to no end to gain as many medals as possible. Chinese women also have been getting busted for doping...especially in swimming events. Chinese women are being tested carefully now since the secret got out. Basically, what the medal standings will show is that the Chinese men are performing at a level below that of their much smaller neighbors... Korea and Japan. OK, Chinese men are great gymnasts (how masculine) and are excellent divers (how gay). It's sad that the Chinese women have to uphold the honor of a 1.2 billion population country. But then again, Chinese men have never been known to be physical as Korea or Japan in the more masculine sports.

I'm gonna go and have some more kimchi.

Why are we talking about Asian games? Uh, if you didn't notice it, this is an Asian American website and the title of this forum is "Comparing Asian Athletes." And this whole thing started becuz you said Filipinos are the best boxers in Asia.

Don't tell me you are really that dumb. Either that or you've got a real bad memory..which is why you forgot that Koreans are the best boxers in Asia. So shut up and get over your inferiority/insecurity complex.
