WHAT YOU SAY

to rare stuff
I'm inside active yellow, and outside, active yellow with large splotches of white which changes to deceiving shades of brown. I look like a goddamned cow!
Are you still in college? That would explain certain elements of consistencies that I find in your postings as well as clarify the reasons behind your odd contemplation of your stance amongst your peers and within your society as a whole.
Please forgive my ignorance. Who's Nietzsche and heyoka Sioux?

MLK,
I could cite Nietzsche on this occasion...I think it's somehow pragmatic like that because my temperament/mentality is into the direction "everything or nothing". Also of heyoka Sioux mentality. I'm a white-washed monster among Asians, a yellow monster among whites. At the moment it's a bit too uncomfortable: inside active/yellow, outside (relatively) passive/white.-But I don't wait for any revolution, just for something like good omen.

T.H. Lien,
indeed culture should be practiced in groups. I've heard that some Japanese in Japan prefer to have a lifestyle like my own: they claim to be president of a club, if you visit such a club you'll notice that the only member of the club is the guy himself and his living-room is the assembly room.

AC Dropout,
thanks to the European educational system I'll have to wait until I can study Asian culture for next 2 years at least. I'm trying out to learn Bahasa on my own at the moment. It's better than being depended on the white-washed media, makes me more relaxed when I'm going to have my next excursion into the white world around me again.

to rare stuff
Hey, me too! I lock myself in my kitchen and make wonderful dishes made with tofu and bean sprouts and opo and prawns and oyster sauce and roast duck. And I try to do a little bit of chanting and meditation when I remember to--if I remember to turn off Jay Leno or something stupid on TV.
That's on days I don't have to entertain Non-Asian friends. Once in a while, when they come over, out comes the BBQ grill or the pasta maker, and then I gotta give them the American food. And of course, we don't chant or meditate. We eat and jive talk and crack stupid jokes.
Somehow, I just don't see you doing anything quite so...loud and spontaneous. You seem to be such an introspective person with a penchant for edurance of extreme painful (and dare I say, lonely?) experiences.
I can't even handle getting my yearly flu shots because I'm scared of getting poked by needles. I get the feeling you wouldn't have a problem with anything so mundane.

rare stuff,
I really think you would gain a lot if you spend a semester in Asia studying. Locking yourself in your room is very unhealthy.
