korean/chinese relationships arent big in korea. when a chinese/korean relationship does happen, it's mostly with the chosunjoks (descended koreans who live in china) who come to korea, or seldom chinese illegal immigrants who come to korea looking for jobs, and impregnating the korean women, to achieve citizenship. It's sad but that's the reality.

I don't understand why korean/chinese relationships are rising in korea. What is this based upon? Personally, I am not at all attracted to chinese men in general, I was never attracted to the slanty eyes (don't get me wrong, some korean eyes have small eyes too, but just not slanted in the downward direction but more straight) and chinese guys tend to have bigger nostrils. The only chinese guys I have ever been attracted to were the ones who didnt look chinese, like I had this major crush on this tall chinese guy last summer but I swear he looked more korean than most korean people themselves! All my boyfriends were either Caucasian or Korean, or Korean/Caucasian (my bf right now), and i probably wouldn't have it any other way. Call me superficial but hey, I'm young.

I don't think that is much of an issue for most Korean people. None of my Chinese friends say things like that at least. However, if Chinese people en masse start go around saying Korean people are really Chinese, and do nothing about it, other people may actually start to believe this. One story I heard from friends in Korea was interesting. There was an island claimed by Korea with Korean speaking inhabitants. However, the Japanese government started distributing maps to the rest of the world with this island marked as Japanese territory. By the time it was discovered by the Korean government, the rest of the world recognized that island as belonging to Japan. However, this is past history and doesn't mean Japanese people go around doing such things now. Anyway, some people get pissed if part of their identity gets misrepresented or misunderstood. In my case, its important that hot Korean girls understand that I am Korean :)

why the hell you koreans getting so dayum mad if they call you chinese. if you know what you are then who really cares. im half viet and quarter chinese and french. i dont give a dang, call me what you want chink, gook, paris, black, paki. i dont give a dayum thats not who i am.
those are the things that make up my facial features, but thats not what i am.

everyone is so stupid. to tell you the truth everyone can go on and on about which race is better but what the hell does that do for you! there are some ungly korean girls out. hyori is still mad fine! but thats besides the point. even if majority of one race overcomes the other does that make an ungly korean girl pretty just cause she's korean? race dont mean sh*t. its who you are not where you came from. fawkin people piss me off.
