History: Yeah chinese and viets are not the same. hey i've noticed that too. a lot of vietnamese have long second toe. well i think vietnamese came from the low valley of yangtze river while the people from Fukien and Chekien are supposed to be original Thai and Laotian people. In chinese annals, it is said in Nam Viet (ancient name of Vietnam), the yuehs (also called Man Viet if i'm right)inhabited in the East of Vietnam (canton areas) and another tribe has lived in West vietnam. These people were called Au Lac (or Lac Viet).
Well i'm sorry for straying from the topic. this would be the last time i 'm off-topic in chinese male-vietnamese female forum.
