from my experience most japanese girls have cuter facial features then most of the other asian population in general. the unfortunate situation for i ... is that i live in kansas and there are few asians...(japanese) girls living here :(
i have noticed the japanese girls dress better as well as talk so quitely...their behavior is very cute.....
perhaps it is the japanese cartoons i love...and not the girls ;)

Most of the KA guys I know are far from the gangsta type. They are more the J Crew/preppy type, then again I went to Georgetown. I like Japanese girls a lot because on one hand they are similar to Koreans in culture but, at the same time, quite different. It's sort of "familiar exoticness" I guess you could say. Generally, I think Korean women tend to look better but there is something about Japanese women that really draws me in. I understand the difficulties that a Japanese-Korean relationship may bring, but I think it would be worth it to be with a lovely, sincere Japanese chick (besides, I don't let others pick out who I go with or not go with). I just wish I could meet more Japanese women in my area to find that special girl.

There are Korean guys that aren't thugs too! Where are you? In California? Yep, I'm afraid Asian guys there in general look like they've all been made in the same factory. Same ol' fades, needle-cushion hair (with lotsa GEL!!), baggy Tommy Hilfigers, bigass apron-like t-shirts that make 'em look 4 feet tall, and that constant expectorating!!! Blech!! I used to live in California, and I got sick of that shit, so I left for College in New York. Asian guys here aren't made from the same cookie cutter.

I don't know where you live but most Korean-Americans I know are more the Ivy-league, J-crew type. Perhaps you should try the upper colleges. Plenty of "normal" KA guys there.

Okay, I must apologize for writing about the "undressed" part. That wasn't cool of me to say. It was only a rhetorical response to the person who said that Japanese women have better clothes.
Anyways. Does it really matter? We love who we love. Does one's ethnic or national background really matter?
There are cute Korean guys but many of them at my school are gangsta types. I just don't know how to talk to those boys. Why don't they just behave like normal people and stop dressing so weird! I'm proud of what I am, I don't want to sound black.

i'm a corean male age 27 and have been dating this japanese girl from tokyo for the last 3 1/2 years. she is my fifth japanese girlfriend and i prefer japanese girls to corean girls. mainly because of the eight corean girls i have dated, four of them were too materialistic and three were just too crazy for my personal taste. of the five japanese girls i have dated, only one was too materialistic and none of them have been too crazy. japanese girls are very fascinated by american culture and having grown up in poor urban ghettoes i feel that i can give them a perspective that many asian men can't. their open-mindedness is very refreshing and allows me to express my emotions which they enjoy. i feel a comfort with japanese girls both mentally and sexually (i'm having the best sex of my life with my girl now). i still love all my corean and chinese sisters in flushing, queens and chinatown, manhattan but i'm very happy with my japanese princess. new york city's da shit! peace out. one love.

Dating a Japanese female would be a non-issue to me. I think there's a lot more variance with Japanese girls than Corean girls which I find interesting. I think one of the main reasons why there is concern about a Corean male/Japanese female relationship is that there is uncertainty how each of the two cultures perceive one another. If I were to get involved with a Japanese girl and I experience negative feedback, I would not let that stop me if I have feelings for the girl. I think it's great that a relationship between a Corean male and Japanese female can take place regardless of what's going on in their respective motherlands. It just goes to show that they appreciate one another as individuals and not as a part of a group. Plus I think Japanese girls are not only easy-going, but very attractive!!

Listen...I am an Asian woman. I am neither Japanese nor Korean, and I don't think my or anyone's ethnicity matters in one's appearance or personality. I am not stuck up; however, I do tan well, and I believe I am an okay dresser. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Korean men. But I have experienced that many are averse to dating Japanese American women like me b/c of disapproval from their parents. The Korean men and Japanese girl relationship is Hotdog on the bun relationship. Koreans had along history cultural intercourse with Japanese women. The majority of Japanese can trace to Korean ancestors. Genes are very strong! Japanese girls being stuck up and sophiscated? Well, Korean girls act the same way. Even though Japanese girls might have cultural animiosity toward Korean men. In other way around there has been along history of sexual cultural interaction between two groups. Japanese girls seem more sophisticated and shrewd than Korean girls. I think that's sexy, but it also makes me feel self-conscious so I'm not at my best. Oh well...

I luv Korean men. They are MUCH more spontaneous and expressive. Japanese men are terribly self-centered and reserved. At least that's been my experience here in the US.
Japanese American women are hella cute, but I can't say the smae for Japanese women. Maybe its their bad teeth and minute size.
