I've realised quite a bit of similarities between Chinese Japanese and Korean. An example would be the word for "library" which would be "tushuguan" "toshokan" and "dosuhkwan" respectively. And there are also a whole bunch of others like it.

In Cantonese, mom is "ama" and dad is "aba" or "baba."

In Mandarin, mom is "mama" and dad is "baba."

In many languages of the world, you will find the term for mom and dad so similar.

Indonesians are much darker than Filipinos!!! Some Indonesians look like mixed of Indians or Blacks. Yes, there are Filipinos who are very dark but there are more Indonesians who are very dark-skinned.

Thailand is a digraceful country.
The whole damn country runs on sex trade. Do these people have no dignity?
This county is so beautiful and actually has alot of natural resources.
I wonder why the Thai government doesn't do something about it, its out in the open. Its like they cater to fat old, ugly western men. If I was a Thai I would never admitt to being one.

I'm not sure about the Koreans but the Japanese have been eating curry only since the late 1800's after the nation opened up to foreign ideas.
Curry, as the Indians eat it, was too spicy for the Japanese so they created a sweeter version for their tastes.

I think the being dark thing applies to all cultures. If you are dark, it shows that you do hard, manual labor (i.e. working the rice fields all day), hence getting a tan. The well to do people aren't in the sun all day, so they aren't as dark.

Filipino is a Malay race:

"Most Filipino people are of Malay genes mixed with some Chinese genes. The negritos are the aborigines of this islands. When the Malay "invaders" came to this islands they did not intermarry with the negritos, that is why *MOST* Filipinos are of Malay genes."

Indonesians are also a malay people, and yet they do not come in such dark, even black at times, colors as filipino malays. This is becasue the Filipino malay "invaders" DID indeed interbreed. They didn't intermarry, they only interbred, that is why pure-blooded negritos are so low in numbers today, they make less than 0.5% of the total of the philippines. Unlike in indonesia, where the malays there did not interbreed at all. Their aboriginal poipulation is in a healthy percentage number of double-digit.
