lets get this right, Malays are three countrys Malaysia, Indonesia and Phillipines and to some extent thailand. Vietnam, burma and the Southern Chinese do not look like malays, i live in malaysia where there are all kinds of chinese people from taiwan to northern china and southern china. And there is no way on earth that even the darkest looking southern chinese that isnt even very dark, looks like a malay. People would laugh if a southern chinese told them they looked like malays. GET REAL, pe proud of who you are,

aghhhh..Argentina and Uruaguy are the only Latin American countries with 90% European descedents. But more and more Indians and mestizos( European/Indian mix) are immigrating from Bolivia and Paraguy.
You are correct about Filipinos, 95 % or so DON'T EVEN HAVE any Spanish blood so what's all this talk about they are "latinos????"
For some it sounds like wishful thinking, are they so ashamed of their Malay blood? You folks need to grow some backbone.

chinese are the most subtle racist of all the asians. at least japanese are racist on the surface which allows people to know. but chinese like to backstab, they'll smile at a non-chinese person, but the moment that person leaves they will talk sh*t about them, eg. how inferior that person is.

the chinese also feel that the world revolves around them more than any other group. it's like they and us.

Filo, its not like filipinos are loved by other asians. The japanese look down upon us. the RP has poor relations with China, Koreans are racists towards us. Filipinos should stop hating eachother because everybody else does.

Christina Aguilera isn't Puerto Rican, she is Ecuadorian, and her father is a mestizo. Ecuador's population is 75% Spaniards and mestizos. A great percentage of people who are categorized as mestizo in Latinamerica are actually also blonde and blue or green eyed with pale white skin and yet they are still considered mestizo because they have some Indian ancestry.

I know a few of these white-mestizos, and they themselves regard themselves as mestizos racially and culturally with pride of having Indian heritage even though it almost doesn't show in them racially. They are basically almost entirely Spanish with little sprinkles of Indian, and they are labelled mestizo.

Chile for example is 95% mestizo and 2% white and 1% Indian, yet about 20% of the population is blonde or light haired and a further 10% have blue or green eyes. The same is for Colmbians, Ecuadorians, Costa Ricans, etc, the numbers of blondes and light eye colored and white skinned people far out numbers the number of people who are classified as white, this indicates that these other blondes and blue eyes people are coming from the mestizo populations.

The Filipino definition of mestizo, is a Filipino with a teaspoon of Spanish blood and ten litres of malay blood. You would basically never see a full-blooded Spaniard in the Philippines, and absolutely never ever see a blonde and blue eyed and white skinned mestizo of the Filipino variety.
