A lot of Koreans are not too crazy about the Chinese, because the People's 'Volunteer' Army prevented the unfication of the Korean peninsula under a free economy. I believe that the Taiwanese did send in some troops for support, but the numbers were very small. This is the reason why Korean people ignore Chinese rhetoric about how America is unfair and shouldn't mettle into the affairs of other nations.

Generally speaking, Korean people don't have much hostility towards the Chinese, except when they read mainland government's views about the "War to Liberate the Korean People." If anything, Korean people have a 5 thousand year history of being avidly pro-chinese. (except for the interluding couple of years when China attacked Korea.)

If you talk to a typical Korean parent, they will dislike their children to marry chinese: but there is a stereotype that they think that Chinese sons-in-law is very good to their wives and is good. But that Chinese daugher-in-law is very bad because they were spoiled by their men. Some korean parent's would rather see their sons marry Japanese women. (this is funny I think, because tons of Chinese people call us Korean men, wife beaters.)

Like someone posted before, Korea was known as the Hermit Kingdom, zealously afraid that their larger neighbors, the chinese, mongols, manchurians, russians, and the japanese would invade them. (In fact they have all engaged in warfares over Korea to the detriment of the peninsula) This is probably the reason for the Korean xenophobia--and also the reason why North Korea can close off their borders so tight even to this day.

A lot of white/black men say that they love Japan, because Japanese girls treat them like little gods, but in Korea, all the girls run away from them, like as if they were marauding angels of death carrying AIDS. But the truth is most of these guys just seeking to get laid gets an extremely hostile response from Koreans, as Koreans are very adament about their ethnic identity. Most Koreans are peeved that their larger neighbors like the Chinese, Japanese, and the US know so little about us, when we know so much about them. If you take any non-korean, and if they speak fluent Korean, they become the most popular guy/gal on the peninsular. In fact there is this french man, who speaks perfect Korean and dresses like Korean, and due to this reason alone, he has become a celebrity in Korea. we love people who are willing to learn about us, instead of assuming that people from smaller nations should learn about them and accomodate our culture around them. (Canadians, YOU understand don't you?)

Is it any wonder that a nation of 70 million North and South combined, would try to distance themselves from a nation of 1 billion and a nation with the 2nd largest economy in the world, to try to express their ethnic distinctiveness? Unfortunately some of this bubbles up in the form of outright fascism.

I will admit this however; if you are a rich and very educated chinese, your korean parent's will embrace you with open arms. If however, you are from mainland china and is poor, chances are very likely that the korean parents will see you as the spawn of hell, trying to ruin their holy family unit.

I think other asians need to be more open. Whats up with this Koreans hating the Chinese, Japanese acting superior against everyone else...i think the filipinos have the right idea. they accept everyone else and they are more open. I dont have one bad thing to say about the brown people.

you give me a good laugh. I can see the Black guy on the Supreme Court of the United States, but for the life of me I can't see the Asian supreme court justice. Please be kind enough to point him or her out to me. Thank you for that outburst of intelligence. Without contributions such as yours to mankind we would still be trying to think of a use for the wheel.
Any future revelations should be tempered with a little common sense and rational thinking. However you did qualify your idiotic ramblings by the disclaimer "In Psychology".
Almost everyone agrees pyschologist and pyschiatrist are their own best patients.

In all your brillance you forgot to mention that Asians got their head up the ass chasing materialism. Oh yea and about being so damn law abiding, someone forgot to mention that to the asian gangs that now proliferate in almost every major American city. Oh and I bet you never heard of the Japanese and Chinese mafia, asian home invasions, asian who are addicted to gambling and oh yea asian prostitues who ply their wares all over the damn planet.
Stick that pyschology and let me tell you about the REAL world my friend about which you apparently know very little.

Koreans do look down on other Asians, and yes, that includes Chinese. But I think all Asians do this as well. Chinese apparently look at Koreans with disdain, Koreans view Chinese with a kind of contempt, Thais look down on Cambos, the list goes on and on. Everyone looks down on others so it's not logical to just blame Koreans for doing it.

Any of these three mind types can be assigned to any of the three racial groups. Asians are just as undisciplined, not law abiding, lax, and no sense of guilt as Blacks. Blacks are just as inventive, idividualistic, creative (probably more than whites here) as Whites. Whites are just as serious, law abiding, very strict, and anal as Asians. The combination is endless.

I just don't understand why you have chosen to group a particular racial group with some Freudian terms which the combination that you made doesn't really make sense. All Freud said was: superego=consciousness, ego=subconsciousness, and id=unconsciousness. Id is full of mischievious objectives and ego and superego is there to control the id. Freud said nothing of the racial groupings you grouped. Care to explain?

What a bunch of BS! How do you explain the rampant organized crimes perpetrated by Asian gangs in Asia and Asian community overseas?
