I had frequented this site before and read some negative things about Filipinos. However, I know that the majority of you readers live in a box and only know what you want to know.

I can say that Filipinos living in America or Americans of Filipino descent are different from authentic Filipinos from the Philippines.

People of all nationalities know that Hollywood portrays mostly their finest people of American society - whether it be of physical appearance or natural talent. But I think it is human nature to put the best looking people on a pedestal.

These are only some male actors of the Philippines, but shows what the 'ideal' Filipino beauty is for both the men and women.

So before making an ignorant remark. Remember there are both extremes of any nationality, ethnicity, or race. There are ugly Filipinos and good-looking Filipinos. There are proud Filipinos and ashamed Filipinos. Which kind of Filipino are you?

Merhaba! Wow, they never told me about any Arabic-influenced vocabulary (aside from "Ojala") when I was studying Spanish ... but now it gets me thinking. Like whether below - "debajo" (Spanish) and "bawah" (Malay) are related. Or Sunday - "domingo" and "hari minggu" (though I got my doubts for that one since it's similar in other non-Arabic influenced European languages). Unfortunately my Malay is really bad, it would be interesting to take a look at all the similarities.

why are you offended, when the chinese and indians came to malaysia via the british, they were dirty. They brought prostitution, alchohol, drugs, gambling, organised crime and hindu movies.

im not saying theyre all dirty now, but when they came they brought the scummy life of theyre home lands. Dusun/Kadazan and Malays are island people and had a thing called pride and self respect. We didnt know or practice these things untill the chinese and indians came. Foreign Countries that INVADES Philippines: Japan, Spain, U.S.A., European, China...etc....HISTORY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF...so...no doubt, Filipinos are the most beautiful asian ever !!!

Actually, Filipinos and their culture are a product of these invasions.. so I don't know what are u talking about. Filipinos are a mestizo race based mostly with Malay, Chinese, and Spanish.

1)Malay were the natives.

2)Chinese came to Philippines to establish a better life.

3)Spaniards were sailing around the world and wanted to conquer all those places they saw..and the Philippines were 1 of them. They treated the Malays and the Chinese harshly.

The beauty of Filipinos weren't the result of these invasions, foreign influences and genes are what make the Filipinos beautiful.
