WHAT YOU SAY

[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
"DISGUSTING...",

what you described may be really disgusting. In my experience whites and Hispanics do such things because they feel "at home". Probably they view you as an "alien intruder".

However, among themselves they tend to be no different. They have still a sort of pecking order like wolves or apes. It might have to do with that some white/Hispanic males don't care that much about their image as civilized people when they are aiming at sexual previleges.

As for datings, places where you are relatively alone will be more suitable.
I haven't experienced exactly the same situation like you, but white/Hispanic males' boasting in front of me while their women were there, too. It sounded like, "We get the best, you get the rest."

I noticed that whenever I am talking to a really fine Hispanic lady, sometimes a white or Hispanic guy would come right up to us and try to cut in on the conversation. If that girl was my girlfriend or wife, I would most definitely had done something about it (confront, shove or sucker punch the arsehole).

I am not a big and tall guy, but I ain't afraid of anything.

Has any of the same experiences happen to you guys? This is not funny s*** to take. I heard they even hit on women who are holding kids in their hands.

MLK,

Actually you have a point about that getting too much influence from girls.
One asian girl educated me on blackheads in college and proceeded to give me a facial one day.

Another asian girl educated me on the finer points of men assecories. So tie clips and pins are in my waredrobe now.

These unauthorized yin transfers are quite annoying I must say.

Next you know women will want me to fold the toilet paper into a triangle when I leave the bathroom. ^_^

MLK,

you discribed the activities generally practiced by white males.

When you date a male you could also work together with him, engage in politics, religion...

Real men are not impressed by lip-sticks or high-heels. Perform your real qualities, not what you don't have (those red lips or long legs look artificial).

Be yourself and natural.

And don't commit suicide like Romeo if a dating hadn't that positive ending which it should have from your point of view.

rare stuff

Tomboyish activities.

You mean lounging around the sofa, drinking beer, cursing like a sailor, and yelling at the ball game, and slapping each other on the backs.

Or do you mean hanging out underneath the car, disassembling a leaky gasket and getting oil on hands and clothes and faces?

Or are you talking about being stuck in the middle of a freezing lake at 2 in the morning on a flatboat, in the middle of winter, waiting for some stupid fish to eat some yucky worms?

Or perhaps you mean driving through Death Valley on a motorbike with nothing but a canteen of water, a compass, a hunting knife, and some camping gear.

Romeo? He died because he was in love and could not stand the thought of not being with his lover. Have you never encountered the man who would die for or because of his love? hmmmm...I guess not since you're a STRONG HE MAN, and strong He Men do not love.

AC

Actually, your confidence and your strong opinions are the best features about you. Never change that for anybody or anything.

My confidence and strong opinions come from hanging around relatives and friends (as well as intensely strong male counterparts) with strong opinions and confidence. After all, you can't very well be buddies or partners with a strong confident person and not be just as strong and confident yourself, right?

Interesting to note. All that Yang does indeed rub off eventually. I guess the fiction of absorbing Yang from males around me really does have some merits after all. The really strong ones exude Yang like crazy! All I have to do is hang out with them, and like the rays of the sun, I unconsciously absorb and turn toasty brown with Yang.

This works in reverse too. Better be careful and not hang out with the girls too much, AC, or you'll find yourself starting to absorb too much Yin and start to look like a girly girl.

MLK,

A Dropout without opinion nor confidence, is a boring Dropout indeed.

And what is the source of your confidence and opinions. All the Yang you've conquer. :)

MLK,

That was a funny show. But I don't think many asian strive for an orange fro.

Hey can't blame the guy he lost the instruction book.

If I had to be a tv show, I would mind being "Manimal." Stupid show about a guy who could change into an animal

MLK,

that's your French heritage: a difficult and complicated courtship. I would appreciate if the interested AF took successfully part in tomboyish activities within the inner circle of my family.

A dating must not be so romantic that two people depart from their families/friends. The social duties of everyday life must not be forgotten. The good friend/brother reminds me if I'm becoming too unrealistic. I don't wanna end up like Shakespear's "Romeo".
