I want a little freakiness-you know trying various positions at various venues private and public. I want them not to mind if I put them in bondage for a few hours. I want them not to mind if I go down on them at any moment. I want them to give me head now and then without my having to request head. To be sure, I want good looks and a brain but the just mentioned things are just as important to me. And probably so do a lot of other dudes who just won't admit it. BTW should the previous "who" have been "whom". Never was good at identifying the subjective and objective cases of pronouns. I'm a friggin illitertate.

krasavitsa,
if you mean Wiccans and prostitutes I don't care about both of them, either. I tried to express that I dislike women who care about their outfit, wear make-up etc. I think beauty in the sense of the modern mainstream is anti-archaic in general. The long hair does not stand for beauty but it can remind me everyday that I have lived a "spirtitual life" for the time I've let it grow. Then I think: "I've made it for a long time and I see no reason for giving up my religious life."
Besides, I would feel there could be a parallel case to the biblical Samson, otherwise. The British-Celtic queen Budicca wore her hair to the knees. That was an expression of the time before Roman occupation. After that short hair was the dominating fashion.

rare stuff:
That's a pretty funny motto you have :))
I personally don't think either are better than the other. I don't think either are necessarily good nor bad. Modern witches (Wiccans) emphasise using magic only for good purposes. Prostitutes generally need more compassion than most groups in society, their lives have often been pretty f***ked up (no pun intended).
Are you sure the criticism of your long hair was "anti-archaic"? :) When one of my AM friends grew his hair out, most criticisms levelled against him were purely aesthetic (it was slightly curly, so it boofed out really badly and looked like a haystack!)
One modern anthropological theory goes that many Shamans were actually mentally retarded persons, whose strange behaviour has been given a spiritual meaning by others in his community.
It has been posited that shamanic practices of certain tribes gave rise to the phenomenon of "holy fools" in Russia (it started around 13th century, i think). Holy fools would wander around naked or in rags, draped in chains and other metal objects, shouting incoherent curses at people. People believed (and some still do) that they were deeply religious beings, and sought their advice on important matters. Holy fools could make or break a persons reputation by what they said, could influence big decisions (such as marriages), and were treated with awe and reverance. Rasputin wielded power because of this social phenomenon (which had no class boundaries) but people now agree he was a phoney.

krasavitsa,
my last comment had a ironic touch. Of course I didn't mean to be backward in a negative sense. As far as I know in ancient times archaic spirituality was expressed by "shamans" and warriors who had very long hair. Because I'm now trying to revive the bridge to my ancestors by letting my hair grow (long hair is thought to be one "bridge" to the world of the spirits) I faced some anti-archaic criticism.
Somehow I have the feeling that AFs with that kind of spirituality are not existent any more.
Referring to the religions you mentioned:
this is now the motto: "we must look different from people with another religion".I'm sure this has nothing to do with AFs because women in general have no influence on real religion except if they are "witches".
My motto: witches are better than whores.

You have an interesting theory on hair :) Yeah, many religions have some kind of rule about hair. Muslim women cover it up. Buddhist nuns and monks shave it all off. Sikhs are not allowed to cut it. Rabbis have those curly bits on the side (sorry, i know nothing about Judaism!). What do you mean when you say you're culturally and spiritually 'backward'? You must at least have the patience of a saint, to maintain extremely long hair. Mine only gets to medium-long before i get sick of it and decide to cut it. Are you a Sikh? I know nothing about the religion, but i think it's cool how all Sikhs have a common name to signify the equality of all members of the religion.

Kudos to all the ladies who like their curvy figures, but I have to speak up for the ladies like myself who happen to stay waif-like no matter what we do.
I have found that most guys do like my petite, waif-like self and I'm sure there are also some that would love to pack some pounds on me too. ;)

referring to the short hair-long hair discussion:
I always thought that wearing short/long hair has political or religious reasons. People of the official (common) culture have usually short hair (in differnt styles, depending on male/female fashion). Right-wing and left-wing extremists or hard workers were extremely short hair or are bold-headed. People with extremely long hair (like me) are culturally and spiritually backward.
It would be interesting if an AF with extremely long hair reacted to my comment.
