Let it be Hakka, Cantonese, Hokkien, Toisan, or whatever, as long as we are doing our homework to unify our culture once again, our culture will reward us well. Take care.

I live in a College Town in Indiana. There's not a lot of Asians in the high schools. But there are alot in the University. Techniquely...I don't really live in the same city as the University...but because my TOWN is so small and it's so close to the College, everyone here just say that they are from the city. Everyone goes into the CITY (it actually just a bigger town:)to hangout and stuff because there is nothing here in our "Village". Haha...out of my whole high school...there is a total of less than 5 Asians. Maybe I should feel lucky...but living in a place that is actually very conservative...the people here are really acceptive of Asians. One of the Candidates for Homecoming King was actually a guy from Korea. And I was the first Asian girl in my school to make it on the School dance team my freshmen year.I really like it in my school...I don't know. I was at one point in my opinion too Americanized too...but it wasn't hard to find a balance in between extremes as time progressed. I'm still fluent in Chinese and I just love my culture! When I went back to Beijing on a visit a couple years back...people couldn't even tell that I was in the US for so long...

I think you should watch more Chinese Soap operas..the kind that have the words displayed at the bottom as they speak...it would help you a lot.

where did you grow up? I ask this due to the fact that where you live or did live probably is the reason why there are NO Asian Males to choose from. I was born and spent much of my grade school years in Missouri where most of the time, I was the ONLY Asian let alone Asian male in my class. It was frustrating for the longest time as I had to endure racist remarks from many people during those days. What was interesting was the fact that even upon moving to California during the 80s, I acted mainstream American for the longest time. I nearly lost my Chinese roots in that I could no longer read Chinese characters and I could barely speak the language itself. That all changed in high school, where much of the school was Asian and it was finally "cool" to be Asian and to know your roots. That is why to this day, my attraction for women is predominantly Asian. I guess my point is that where you grow up has a profound impact upon what you see as attractive. However, that's NOT to say that such a thing can't change. Your surroundings usually dictate who you choose to associate with. I only wish I had retained my Chinese literary skills. Oh well, at least I'm still fluent.

Hi!I am a Chinese girl! All my boy friends so far have been Americans. It is not because I'm not attracted to Asian men, it's just that there is not a sufficient amount of Asian men population here to pick from. I don't know.....

I love Indonesian men!!!!!!!!!!(many of whom I've seen are Chinese and Indonesian mixed)They are so good looking!!!!!!Seriously, it seems like Indonesian men on average just look so so good! There's just this charisma about Indonesian men!!!!!!haha...so cool!!!:)

Anyways, I love all men that are sophistcated, cool, intelligent, have a lot of charisma, good looking, and good sense of humor. And kind too!! I feel that those are the kind of men that I'm made to attract.....

But....where are they now?? Aye!! ^_^
