I completely agree with you. Some may think that physical contact is fundamental of attraction, however I feel that people that are more subtle, less shallow are able to surpass that. It is very possible for some one with a sophistication in sentimentality and comprehension can find a person attractive based on writing. That attributes to their ability to sense the mentality of another simply from writing.

A relationship doesn't just involve sexual/physical compatibility. Communication constitutes a real relationship as well. If there are no feelings of understanding and being understood, on the same wavelength, all the sexual escapades in the world wouldn't be able to hold two people together for an extended period of time. If there is no connection beyond the physical, what holds crinkly-soft and wrinkled elderly couples together, after the 'duty' of reproduction is fulfilled? Surely not the sexual acrobatics. There is an emotional exchange that melds, in addition to the physical compatibility. Emotional exchanges can be communicated through writing. Simple black marks on a page can convey emotions. And these simple black marks can be maintained for posterity. The written word is just one medium that can be preserved untainted, regardless of time.

When whittled down to the most basic biological sense, our minds may be a series of synapses similar to that of other mammals, but the typical human lifestyle deviates so drastically from that of any other living being that it is evident we have transcended beyond the metaphysical sphere. The higher levels of conceptual thought that define humanity cannot even be remotely grasped by other animals. Perhaps extreme sports and recreational activities may help to satisfy our primal urges as it produces hormonal stimulants. But life cannot be encapsulated as a series of amphetamine highs. Love is not such a trivial "game" devised in our spare time to serve as a source of entertainment. Love defies the banality of a haphazard search for cheap thrills.

Sometimes, you are just too cute! If I had my way, you'd be inside my piano, getting banged about by the keys, and then you'd have to listen to my dreadful Mozart pieces while you pretend to be dead.

If you were Japanese and you insulted yourself, I would let you, since no one insults better than you. But if you're not, then shame on you! As far as insulting my culinary talents, I might just liberally sprinkle in the MSG (and I normally hate that stuff, it's reserved for very special people only) and the hot peppers from Thailand (think tongue curdling, stomach wrenching hot) on dishes that I've specially prepared for you.

I think that both T-Rex and Wooly Mammoth have growth hormones in them...that's how they got so big. Their predecesors are tiny little lizards and small elephants without that growth hormone. Have you ever had deep fried lizard?

Well the concept is that we would have an additional purpose: procreation of ideas.

So our interest in having children will be the same as sharing information. In hopes in making people like minded.
With like minded individuals there is less chance of conflict, hence, further enhancing the chance of genetic survival.

So everytime you concur with a new concept. You are in fact taking in a seed of an idea into your mind. It can mature in your mind. The concept can also die, be rejected in your mind. It can also mingle with other ideas you might already have.

Basically the hypothesis is that humans have evolved into a state, where we want to pass on ideas, substance for the mind. We create the tools of logic and emotions to compel others to concur with these ideas.

(smirk)...Well nothing that extreme. I'm not talking about the Kama Sutra here.
But if you think back to all your sexual experiences. Then think about the ones where you experienced the most intense orgasms. I'm sure you will agree, that the individual was able to stimulate your mind (via flirting, teasing, suggesting, etc.) creating expectations and desires, prior to corporal stimulation.

People in coma can have orgasm. But the percieved intensity of an orgasm is all regulated by stimulating the mind.

As most guys can attest, the mind can cause the body to react even when there is a lack of corporal stimulation. The phenomenon of "Wet Dreams" are well documented in Health Ed books across the country.
