Ties? I'm not advocating that you cut ties! I'm just suggesting you go take a visit, a vacation, or a slight detour next time you're driving cross-country. It actually is a paradise-found. But Paradise does not come cheaply. We Californians pay through the nose for the priviledge of living here. Rent and home costs in California are second to none. SF & bay area are in the top 5 most expensive places to live. I think SF is #1 and SJ is #4 or something like it, and Palo Alto is #2. So the bay area is pretty much top dog expensive...all the worse for us!

As for my traumatic educational experience, it was mostly due to low esteem/confidence issues as well as the dumb-dumb factor in school. Being the only asian in the elementary can do strange things to a person. Also, I had the pleasure of being accepted to special ed. I'm surprise the amount of money that goes into teaching the dumbest kids. The classroom sizes where 1 teacher for every 7 students while average classroom had 1 in 40 students. I think the incremental benefits to society would be better serve reallocating to more gift students.

And I work for wsj bank in the risk management system with no access to cash so i cannot borrow cash even if i wanted too.

Buddy, the Avg American male's height is EXACTLY 5 feet 9 1/8 inches. If you avg. your "accurate" average height of 5'11" with the aforementioned 5'7" then we can all be happy with.. MY FIGURE of 5'9 1/8" (more or less), which is right on.

Whether this is an attempt to make Asian American males feel better about their relative inferior height or perhaps just an incidental mistake is for individual interpretation. However, statistics consistently state the average American male stands at 5'11 (having 5'7 listed as average is laughable) and the average American female measures 5'4.

What you see is what you get, blonde or no...which goes to show you just how dipstickedy I can get, as a redhead, a plumhead (trust me, there is such a color as plum), as a brownette, and as a brunette. Wait till you see me in pink and blue! You'll get a heart attack and swoon. :)
