I dunno cause I've never had mac concealer, but I've never had any complaints about mac's line in general-- made for makeup artists, and are really great!

what do you think of m.a.c. cream concealer in the pots - do they tend to change colour to orange too? I don't really need a lot of makeup, I just tend to touch up spots

beebee-
I once had the same exact foundation from the Body Shop in the same shade. Watch out, over time it will start turning orange-ish in the tube. I noticed this was happening when I realized that my skin had an orangish cast to it whenever I wore it! For some reason it darkens in the tube over time. That sucked, because it was already a little on the dark side to begin with, I had to toss the tube after 6 months and buy new stuff. I bought Clinique Superbalanced in Fair after that and it served me well for over a year! And after that ran out, Prescriptives Virtual Skin in Cream served me well for another year. Now I'm using Prescriptives Traceless in Level 1. I've had this one for almost a year and it is just as great as when I bought it. Unfortunately, it costs $32. But trust me, next time you buy, invest in one of the things I've mentioned and you'll prob be a very happy girl!

ok, now I am starting to hate skinlights concealer. It stinks -literally smells kind of awful. and I REALLY don't like the orange colour (the "medium")--that's my biggest complaint. I wish I didn't waste my money on this product.
I thought it was nice and light and smooth. Well it's still smooth, but it is not light textured anymore. It seems to be stuck to the lousy brush that it comes out of.

(I am a little white side as AF)
I always find a good match to my skin pretty expensive but I think I finally found the one!
Try "Everyday foundation" from THE BODY SHOP, the color is "very pale ivory"
its only $10.. not bad, isn't it?

skinlights "medium" concealer is orange. the "light" one is a better colour - at least it's a more natural colour, even if it is too light for my skin tone. I darken it a little with some darker foundation over the top of it and the faint shimmer still looks natural

I wear the same color as caucasians wear. Creamy natural.

I paid for the concealer made by revlon's skinlights line. It's not bad. But when I finally bought one, it was only available in light -and I am probably more of a medium colour.
The product itself is a nice texture though, and is light and smooth. very nice.

I find many Asian women who reside in Asia are misled into believing that pristine white skin is considered the beauty optimum. You wouldn't believe how many women I've seen walking about the streets of Hong Kong with blanched white faces that do not match the skin tone of their necks.

Remember not to always buy Yellow-Based foundations. Not every asian is yellow. I heard we come in the widest color range. First check out your skin in good lighting, is it yellow? Most chinese girls from shanghai or that region have white skin, not much red or yellow, so dont be tricked to buying yellowish foundations, only by em if you are though. I've also seen many yellow skinned caucasian peoples.
