I read some of your posts and some of you are totally against coloring your hair to any other shades such as blonde, red or brown. I find this very interesting 'cause I must be one in the minority due to the fact I was adopted at a young age and now I have long, light golden-blond hair. It's shiny and soft, still thick as ever and I condition it very well. I am proud to be an Asian, but I'm not your typical Asian. I'm Asian-American, but I don't WANT to be white or anything like that. I like to be Asian and be different too. My hair color doesn't mean I'm rebelling or trying to be "white", not at all, I'm doing this for pure entertainment and fun. In fact, if I had natural black hair, it makes me look really, really drab and tired looking. With the blond hair, my skin looks brighter and I look much younger. How strange! People said I look good as a blonde but can still identify me as an Asian. Of course, some Asians ARE gorgeous with natural dark hair because they have the right skin tone coloring, features and figures. On me, I'll look very average to some Asians who has better skintone or figure than me. I tan very easily so blond hair keeps this contrast up very well, opposed to black hair and tanned skin, making me look like a Filipina or Latina (no offense, that combo is great with your features but I'm Korean so it's different story). Of course, it's up to you to be au naturel, it's beautiful, but we also have choices to be different and enhance our own individual beauty. That's how I look at it.

my hair is really long and superthick. it has a tendency to get really dry and frizz out. i dye it black because it turns a nasty reddish brown in the sun. does anyone know a good conditioner to make my hair sleek like zhang ziyi in rush hour 2? she had really good hair in that movie.

it is? i dont do it , but i sleep with a bun ....it keeps your hair from getting tangled and moisture stays in too ..just from my experience

I heard that it's good to put your hair in loose braids when you go to sleep...it's good for the hair.

long hair lover ,
yes i did dye my hair , i dyed it dark brown (its my natural color actually , but it lightens in the sun),i don't dye it anymore because well it makes your hair break if you do it often.hhmm i miss my waist length hair because i missed braiding it, and taking care of it ,looking for the right curly hair items . having long hair doesn't make me look prettier , i look the same with short hair too , i just prefer long hair.i sometimes take hair pills (regular , not ultra)and it worked good not only for my hair but it had other vitamins for your body .
