WHAT YOU SAY

I have noticed in comparing a range of photographs of Won Bin that the longer hair on Asian men always makes me a little weak. mmm sexy....Granted, he ALWAYS looks good...but that ponytail...THUD. I hope Apolo's popularity leads a few men to try bypassing the scissors for awhile.

Sparkle and Beachgerl:
I'm intrigued that you guys have blonde hair. Please tell us how you do it without your hair getting all brassy and red. I really want to go lighter, but I'm afraid of the red. Do you do it yourself? Is it from a box? What brand? If you can maintain your blonde-ness at home thus avoiding having to spend $100 every couple of months for maintenance, I would like to give it a try!

Thank you Sigmund Freud. Hair color change = self-hatred. And yes, if you even slightly like yourself, please do not put on any makeup, wave/curl your hair, or wear high heels. Oh, by the way, those blue jeans make you look like you just want to be western. You must wear your traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc., clothes so that you can love yourself and have respect for your heritage.
Bhuwaaahahaha! ...ridiculous

To add to my previous post, I brought this up at dinner last night, and several of my roommates and dinner guests could immediately call to mind girls they'd known who had blonde hair who dyed it expressly to get away from the stereotypes.

"to all the people saying that they dye their hair blond for FUN,FASHION, ENTERTAINMENT, STYLE, whatever, 1 simple question:"

Another question I have is why only blonde for fun? Why not the whole rainbow of colors? Sure that would be fun. Imagine your hair looks like a rainbow, not just one color.

I always thought asian going blonde was because they could not afford a good hairdresser to do the highlights correctly.

God of Asia, I'd have to say that I HAVE known multiple blondes who dyed their hair other colors, including black. Your hair should be about what you like the look of and what looks good on you, which is going to vary dramatically from person to person regardless of race. I'd look great with black hair, if I could afford to dye three feet of hair, and I'd look TERRIBLE with blonde hair. A lot of white girls don't even usually want blonde hair any more now...too many blonde jokes to bear.
